#cheaper alternative to fender braided cable?

Yeah teacher recommended it to me
Ernie ball, Dunlop, D’addario
sonicake
Did decide on a cable but have one issue
sonicake ones are good, and fairly cheap
I am not really experienced with recording, I got a sound card atm, but idk how to get sound out of it for this instance
yea you can't use that
need an audio interface for direct recording into your computer
or mic out amp
Theyre all over the budget for him
I can’t use a sound card at all?
no
Oh
sounds cards are for sound processing and output as well
Damn get more idk 🤷 don’t get shitty cables
first cable i bought and it's pretty solid
fairly cheap
Do you really think that cables matter this much
Not a cheap one not a super expensive one but not the bottom of the barrel cable
Like I have cheap ass cable and some like 15$ one sound is the same but there’s more noise
On the cheep one
Kirlin isnt at the bottom of the barrel firstly, and also it is probably because it is probably damaged on the outside
Idfk what they are getting
Or else, we can do a blind test if you can notice
I’m just saying don’t get shitty cable
Kirlin isnt shitty literally the same quality with ernie ball
Cool
I just dont want to pay more for it to write ernie ball on it
I don’t use Ernie ball either
I use gigsnake cable
Well used I accidentally broke mine
So they dont really matter unless its a huge gap and theyre pretty durable as one of my kirlin has been with me since 2018 and used it at many gigs concerts etc.
The cheap one (at least in my experience) gets more static than a good insulated one
can be
Tbh unwanted noise and interences are also a matter of environment and the cable length.
While i use mogami and vovox cables from time to time, id never pay a hundred bucks for a cable, because there is simply no reason for it. Shielding really isnt complicated or expensive and the feature id pay most for are silent connectors.
If youre tight on budget, there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying something like this https://www.thomann.de/intl/the_sssnake_sk3613_kabel.htm?
cables dont effect anyhting at all, i would get a standard namebrand cable (fender, musicman, etc)
