If not, what are the other picks in price range of 400 euros. I want something with simillar shape and kinda modern look, not like its from 60`s. And how much do i have to expect to spend on AMP, etc.?

Where are you located?
Belgium
yamaha pacifica would be good
112V maybe
amps could be around 200 euro
how much can you stretch for an amp?
i just found orange 20
is that good?
and yeah, i need to be able to play through headphones
cuz im moving out of house to apps in few weeks
yeah it's pretty good, but it has no effects i'm pretty sure
so portable + you can play through headphones
cant i buy pedals later?
do you plan on connecting it to your pc and recording
yea but they're better for stuff like concerts
not rlly but i might want to show it off through discord
sometimes
like in vc
Do you have a pc
i do
yeah
How much is that orange 20
and you can record on your pc
169
or maybe a yamaha thr5, it works as both an amp and an audio interface
send
used is probably okay too
but i wouldn't go that route unless you can actually see the guitars for themselves
see their condition and stuff like that
Audio interface+ eris 3.5 reference monitor = 140 euro
You will not have hard time with it, just install the daw and the plugins you want, and you have infinite tones on your pc
yea it's pretty damn versatile
tbh i rlly want an amp... idk why
but they did say they didn't want to deal with software
but if you`re saying audio is better
what's your budget though?
then ill buy it
both have their pros and cons
idk 300 on guitar and 200 amp
maybe 400 for guitar
200 sounds good
im kinda new and i have hard time working hile studying
so i dont want to spend all my money
if you don't need anything too portable then fender mustang lt25 maybe?
you don't have to
there's a lot of options for 300$
With an amp you would have limited tones you can achieve but audio interface has infinite. There are plugins everywhere, analog amp models, pedal models, ir's just like theyre irl
or you can have something that works as both
like a yamaha thr5
but why would anyone else buy amp
if soundcard is so much btter
you`re talking liek it got no cons
it does have cons
Its a controversional idea, some say analog is better some say digital
i think
yes, it's portable, it's versatile
but you have to plug it into your pc
it's good
which actually makes it less portable.. unless you have a laptop
but then it will be kinda slow
i dont plan on going out with it
because laptops have bad specs
audio interface might be a better option in that case
oh i wanted to buy
1 sec
ill gogole the name
Focusrite Scarlett Solo
4th gen
it's a good audio interface
but then i saw orange 20 and i liked it right away idk why
Super gitaartje. Lage actie en shredden maar. Geen fretbuzz.
Ook geen fret slijtage.
Enkel wat oppervlakkige gebruikssporen die enkel zichtbaar zijn onder sterke verlichting of flash.
Zwevende brug...
Yea it is good but mtrack duo is way more cheap and also has its driver
honestly i don't know much about audio interface models
wb the guitar
the guitars seem nice
the ibanez is pretty damn nice yeah
but im scared to buy used
Nope if you feel a difference among them, i would literally send the money to buy you a new focusrite
Rg350 is pretty good
quality can be variable
but oftentimes you can get gems for a lot cheaper than if you bought new
But i guess its a bit cheap for the guitar you will need someone who knows abt guitars
i dont have no one
so i guess its better
if i jsut buy new
if there was something that looked like it
i just really liek the desing
the colors and horns
and yeah i wanted to ask is there much more i need to buy? besides from amp and guitar
i already bought cable
but it's a bit expensive new
well if you don't plan to move it much, then probably not
Its named superstrat
i dont mean i would buy ibanez new
just msth else
just amp, cable, guitar
makes sense
but one thing
we are recommending guitars to you, but you have to get one that will inspire you to play
idk they all seem cool
buy the guitar that you want, not what we want you to buy
i just want the audio
ive never seen ugly guitar
i like em all
so the sound is more important to me
you wanted an amplifier, right?
yeah
more than you wanted an audio interface
Will you move the guitar alot to play along with friends or just at home
K buy the audio interface and dm me after, ill set it up on teamviewer or so
yeah i dont know how to explain, its just that vibe or something
I just dont want people to spend more money
if you really want an amplifier you can get a yamaha thr5
but it's a lot more expensive than an audio interface
double the price
https://www.thomann.de/be/orange_crush_20.htm i planned on buying this one
but i might get audio
interface
r you using the one you reccomend me?
oh you can play that one with headphones too if you really want
pretty sure you can't connect it to pc though
can i like play it for someone im in call in discord for example
if you unplug your headphones and play into the mic, yes
I used it recently, currently using boss gt1 processor and also used boss katana 100 the amp and i guess audio interface is the best, but since i have a desktop i needed a processor
sorry whats the differnce between proccesor and audio interface?
but audio interface would be a lot more convenient for you
take your time to think about it
don't rush to a decision
Processor has its own pedals amps preamps in it and it has some more buttons and expression pedals, audio interface needs a pc that has the plugins(tones) you want
yeah i think it is, but like buying a 50 dollars autio interface kinda scare me
liek wouldnt it brake
in few months
Why would it break
you don't have to buy such a cheap one if you don't feel like it will meet your standards
Mtrack duo isnt cheap btw
i know price is not always quality
but you`re saying 150 and 50 are almost same
kinda hard to believe for my mind
it's not the same
150 for what
i told i wanted to buy Focusrite Scarlett Solo
and you said its same
as the one you reccomend
Scarlett is better ofc but not a 70 $difference
may not be worth 70$ more but definitely a decent difference
if i had to choose between em i'd go focusrite
just my 2 cents
i kinda want to stick around with one amp/audio but change guitars sometimes
so i want at least decent
audio or amp
If i pay 122€ to an audio interface i would rather get a processor instead
you`re talking abt this things?
Nahh
Np
yeah its kinda what i think
but wouldnt it also improve my mic?
Also you can take a look at some reviews on mtrack duo, its all up on you but you will be paying 70$ difference for a thing you will not even hear
i talk alot cuz i like to read books and upload it
so if it would improve my mic
im ready to buy auido
rn
also i'd say you don't need a 4i4
2i2 is pretty much all you need if you're going focusrite
Is your mics output xlr
3rd gen or 4th gen, up to you
no but i think you can buy like adapter
sorry, whats that?
4i4 and 2i2
ik im stupid
different models
If you have the mic separately its possible to plug your mic in both the interfaces
there's a lot of focusrite models
oh i thougt abt 4th gen
some are cheaper, some are more expensive
tbh i just wanted to ask about guitar but know i have even more things to think abt
3rd gen has 2
idk what to pick...
yeah it's confusing
i just want something that would sound good and under 600 euros
and that i can play that at home every part of the day i want
without getting my ass whooped by neighbours
https://www.thomann.de/cz/focusrite_scarlett_2i2_3rd_gen.htm honestly i think this would be enough for you lol
sorry how much is it
3000 kc
89 euro i think
it isnt?
sec
Its 200 if yo ubuy it with headphones
but alone its 139
yeah thats how it workds
oh im stupid
i'd say pretty similar
what would you say
it just has less inputs
well if all you're doing is connecting to your pc and playing pretty casually, you can just get a solo
it's got all you need
hell, 3rd gen solo could be fine too
wdym cassualy?
i mean is it only for begginers?
no that's not what i mean
i mean that it's not for like professional stuff lol
like you're not recording anything professionally, right?
just playing for fun and stuff
yeah just play for myself and maybe friends
2i2 has more features
There are some inaccurate things stated here, im going to try to be a bit more precise.
In terms of guitars the pacifica 112v is good.
Regarding digital vs analog there are some major differences.
If you have an amp, you plug your guitar in and are ready to play without the need for any other equipment.
If you want to play digitally, you need a pc, an interface and speakers. That being said you get the advantage of having more tonal possibilities.
If you go digitally, i wouldnt buy a focusrite. Up to the 3rd gen their headroom isnt great and theyre a bit overpriced because of their hype. Id suggest the umc202hd or umc204hd. What imo is often not talked enough about is the need for speakers/headphones. For headphones its not ideal to go under 100 bucks and for speakers more like 300. Thats a substantial cost not being talked about.
My advice would be to get a katana. Its a modeling amp, so has lots of tonal options and you can also use it as an interface to access the boss tone studio. Imo thats a better Allrounder and starter to see what you like @scenic latch
amplifiers are loud
i think you know more about this than i do
i'll leave it up to you
i don't want to give them bad advice
oh yeah
i forgot to say
i dont ahve speakers
only headphones
that was the reason i wanted amp
so much
and not audio
headphones are just small speakers
a lot of amps you can't connect to your pc i'm p sure
and katana is kinda of my budget
100 more than orange
but ik its great i saw allot of reviews
@reef musk is an orange crush 20 able to connect to pc?
but i just need to connect them to headphones
not pc
yea you can connect the orange crush to headphones
but you can't play for any discord friends sadly
oh tis no big deal i stil lcan show it off to irl friends
but cant i just place my mic near the amp?
yea you can
would work lol
Just the orange crush 20 is not lol
yea not many effects
unless you want pedals
wdym?
how is that related to mic
im sorry im bit stupid
it's pretty much just a barebones amp
Its a super cheap amp with an 8“ speaker
no effects
it's a good amp but it has no effects
so you would reccomnd spending a bit more for katana?
bedroom practice, the size of the amp doesn't matter much
Its not good period
why not
8“ speaker
it's literally bedroom practice
And
Thats a budget of 500€. I dont see how a katana (230€ on thomann) doesnt fit in there
katana 50
very versatile
very good amp
yeah yeah o kinda messed the budget in my head
my bad
i gues ill buy katana 50
and pacifika
112
Great
have fun
You might also look for both used and save some bucks
iddk i had a really bad
expirience
with it
lost 400$
try looking if thomann has some B-stock katana 50
you can return it and get a full refund if it's bad
b stock is like used?
I mean with guitars its pretty much like this. You go to someone, play it and if you like it, you buy it
it's returned product, so yea sorta
yeah but im complete newbie
Doesnt really matter
i couldnt tell
if its not good
and i got fcked up in thing i really do know well
more than guitars
most beginners won't be able to tell if a piece of gear is actually good or not
so i dont trust myself anymore
But the same applies to new gear
but the chance is way lower
that it would be defective
nah not really
is there smth else like yamacha
i'd be more worried if it was something like harley benton
they're all over the place
yeah
and theyre 2 times cheaper
than the cheap ones
so idk what kind of quality they even got
well their bad qc applies to even their expensive models so
Guitars are so simple in terms of electronics…there really isnt much to worry about. Especially because beginner gear usually isnt used for long. People either quit or upgrade
yea
so don't get too worried
yeah i thought about using it for a bit
and then going higher
in terms of gear
its just that we get exams alot and i dont have time for part time
yea that makes sense
so when i would have money i want to upgrade guitar
but at the same time i want good amp now
so i wont change it later
also
do you think white guitar would be pain in ass
to look after?
and which one you got rn
i don't think it matters
honestly idk lol
I also have a pac112v at home
good guitar, yea?
maybe ill try to look for it at facebook
but itsd kinda unpopular here
havent seen any good stores
damn
Might just be one color
yeah the white one
…Or just buy used
look for used
do they operate in belgium?
probably some people will list from belgium
it works like an ebay for guitar gear basically
oh
reverb.com

b stock 120h
looks good
Ebay and revery are international, i cant tell you about your local used websites
it's a B-stock 120
they're p similar to a 112
it's a B-stock guitar that's why they're the same
usually a new 120 is a bit more than that
https://www.thomann.de/be/yamaha_pacifica_112j_bl.htm https://www.thomann.de/be/yamaha_pacifica_112vmx_yns_rl.htm

why are they
diff prices
colour?
that 50 euros diff would really do for me
J and v are different models. Ceramic/alnice pickups and the v has a splittable bridge humbucker
J is still worth it tho
since i already spent 30 on cables
wait
but it doesnt make sense
j is cheaper
than v
ye
no worries
the 112J has the color you want too btw
just different pickguard
sure
i have nothing better to do anyways lol
yea ceramic is a bit harsher
actually i have the J since i prefer the harsher sound
Eh i have to disagree
yeah?
i can hear the difference lol
idk maybe the guy used diff amp setting
on purpose
Irl?

ok
so do you reccomend j over v?
get whichever you'd like lol
Dont focus on pickups
maybe ill guy some other things for guitar
It doesnt matter
don't focus on them all that much yeah
nice accessory to have
some songs actually do use capo
but there's probably a way to play that song without a capo too
you buy it
Depends pretty much on what youre playing. Fun fact, ive never really used a capo in my entire life
oh i almost forgot about picks
do you think 10 euro ones would be good?
Dunlop variety pack
k
this ones ya?
yeah the variety pack is nice
sure
it probably doesn't matter
Whats a starcaster
i use the cheapest one on thomann
it's just a strat
umm i kinda forgot
instrument cable
absolutely
Do you intend to play while roaming your house?
3m is plenty
why would you do that tho
I have absolutely no clue
not rlly my house got like really long stairs so i wont be able to do it even with 10 m
or 20
so 3 is fine
(Its was a Joke)
Color
oh thats it?
Can someone help me
color makes 30 dollar diff interesting
i cant rlly im sorry
which one
look
damn im so blind
i didn't notice either honestly
i gues i clicked on someone else link
who use puonds
i think thats all
i thought it would be unedr 600 or sum
im glad it isnt
i'd say that's all yeah
I have stated that he could buy an eris 3.5 with the interface and also the overpriced tag of the focusrite, katana is going about twice as much of his budget, and in my opinion, buying a processor with a speaker would be a better option instead of spending yhat much of money on a katana. And if he really wants a headphone, as i didnt recommend one considering the fact that he was going to buy an amp, i can recommend behringer bh470, if you want an in ear one, can take a look at kz's products
@thick solstice@reef muskthx to you guys i can send feedback once i get it if you want
@timid bisonand thx to you too
sure go ahead
sorry for pinging
no worries
that wont be that fast
im still waiting for my paycheck
its at 28
i'll be waiting for you then
yeah thx
till next time
yeah he sounds like he got expirience
but you still helped with guitar
he helped more with amp
but pacifika 112 was your idea
