Interesting look, interesting sound, but if you want a really nice guitar, there are better options
So what specifically do you want from a guitar?
I’ve got a bunch of acoustics but only one electric (MiK Tele). I’m wanting something with a sort of 50s/60s style to it that that’s decently versatile. Going down to London in a few days to buy a new guitar so would need to be from there (ideally a shop on Denmark street)
under 1k
I also don’t really want something like a strat, i want something unique
I really don’t like the look or feel of these guitars I definitely recommend playing one first
It felt so weird
Get a jazzmaster or a 335/Les Paul
Wunjo guitars has a big selection, probably one of my favorite shops on Denmark street
Sixtysixty is overrated tbh
These are what I'm currently thinking of:

The Gibson LPJ was introduced as the companies most affordable USA made guitar, and certainly offers a great deal of bang for your buck. Designed around the traditional Les Paul cornerstones of tone and playability, the LPJ features a mahogany body and set neck along with a maple top, with the typical warmth and richne

The Wilshire P-90 is a forgotten vintage guitar gem, but Epiphone has brought this no-nonsense rocker back to life with all of its old-school charm still intact! First introduced in 1959 and regarded as one of Epiphone's first solid-body electric guitars, the bang-for-your-buck brand has reintroduced this no-frills instrument for 2020 and beyond...
The Crestwood was Epiphone's first solid-body electric guitar. Originally appearing in 1958, a modified version took its place just a year later - the Crestwood Custom. Fast-forward to 2020, and Epiphone has brought this retro rocker back to life with all of its vintage charm still intact - including the dazzling double-cutaway body design!Key f...
This may sound incredibly dumb but I'm not overly wanting something that's a 'cheap' version of a gibson, rather something thats cool in its own right... closest to that ig would be a guild aristocrat but that still feels like it isnt just trying to be a copy
I would say the crest wood is another fantastic option for something unique
Think that’s what I love about it, it’s epiphone being epiphone not chinese made gibsons
i can’t decide how about the les paul… the lack of finish is either really cool or really not. think that’s defo gonna have to be seen in person. the two builds are cool to me. the violin body is another one i can’t decide if i like or not. same with the two epi’s
Very good point
I like the red crest wood the best
definitely yeah
ive tried them at a local gc
they definitely arent bad
they arent the best either
