You could also watch that guy's classical arrangement and just tab it out yourself ๐Ÿ™‚ you can see most of what he's doing already anyways

#

Watch a few notes, find those notes on your guitar, write it down ๐Ÿ™‚ haha

#

i'll give it a go today. i'll see if i can get to it haha

That one even has tab already

charred anvil
#

that arrangement doesnt sound bad

#

do you not know tabs?

#

i can copy it into my guitar pro which will give it notation if you like

#

Learning it by ear is not a bad thing to do anyways ๐Ÿ™‚

ear training is a skill you can practice

#

hear a note. try and find it on the guitar etc

#

you'll eventually start hearing something, and be like "oh i know that that's a Bminor, cause i've heard it used in some other song"

#

it takes time

there's nothing wrong with using the other things you have tho.. just depends on the goal. for me, the fun part of anything like this, where, i hear something and then want to play it is, learning the song more generally than "the guitar part".. learning its melody or lyric, and thinking about the story. maybe researching the composer/s. i might listen to a bunch of different versions of it if i can find it. but i dont want to necessarily copy anyone's guitar playing, especially if its something like that that is just a fun melody sang in a cartoon that is open for interpretation

#

but, if you just want to pick up your guitar and short-cut some of that and sound like that song? the tab you found is probably the easiest way. if you want to "learn more music faster" like you said, you can use something like https://www.justinguitar.com/songs

#

if you want to talk about arranging songs you hear and like and want to play on guitar? you might do that by looking at songs that are easier to hear from the original recording

charred anvil
#

that sounds really good!

Yes. With some more playing it of it you'll get it down even more
