I hear the yamaha pasifica 112v is real good. And the classic vibes are really good right now. Though none have coil split stock that I'm aware of.
Though honestly I can't really see wanting to coil split an hss strat anyways.
aah i meant HH wiht coil split

If you want HSS, I will send another link
please send that also, thanks
these might not be available in india 🥲
something from more popular/recognized brands (fender, ibanez, jackson, cort.. etc i guess)
Oh you’re in India? that changes things a lot…
If you can get your hands on a squier classic vibe Strat HSS, that’s really good
yeah.. 😢
its that stick thingy right? (completely new to electric guitars, had an acoustic till now), not sure
NP, I’ll explain
A tremolo is often called a whammy bar, and is that bar that sticks out in the side and when you push it, it tilts the bridge, causing a pitch warp effect. The problem with tremolos is that they cause issues to tuning stability, intonation, and cost money to repair. If you aren’t set on using one, it’s best not to have one.
Lightweight, comfortable, and ready to rock, the Ibanez S561 features a versatile HSS pickup configuration to unlock any tone you can dream of.
probably won't need it i guess, not really sure though
Also another thing to note: you don’t need to have coil split stock from the factory - if you really want, you can pay someone who works on guitars (a luthier) to simply change the wiring so that when you pull up the tone pot, the humbucksrs change wiring into a “single coil”
Let’s not get it then
this looks nice
hmm, should I just get an HH then, HH are more commonly available?
anyways will go to a store tomorrow to check out different guitars and also ask there, thanks for the help!
You could, but make sure that there is a guitar luthier near you who can change the wiring
It will not be free
It will likely cost a decent amount of money
aah ok, will try to get an HSS then
@burnt ledge sorry for pinging, saw that you're also from india and have HSS/HSH, any recommendations?
Second the Yamaha Pacifica. Can’t go wrong with it. Reliable guitars
012 or 112 I don’t know the models but those are the entry level ones I think
You should have them at local stores too
My guitar is a Yamaha ERG121c which is part of the Gigmaker starterpack
It’s a HSH
If you can I’d highly recommend going for a good amp because that’s most of the tone
Then there are the Ibanez Gios but most of them are HH I think. There’s an Ibanez AZ or something i forgot the name but it’s HSS I think at entry level
You haven’t specified budget btw
The Pacifica is another great option. I think the Ibanez’s I linked are better, though
going for katana 50mk2
Good one
guitar for 35-40k
love the s561, though mostly for the looks/color😅
and its HSS
Yeah that looks mad good. I love S series guitars
i'm probably gonna go for it then, anything i should know? because like i said i love it because of the looks mostly so not sure if it's actually good (or maybe i can get better with same price)
will try it first though
It’s a thin guitar
I agree, the S561 is amazing
It’s exactly like a Charvel DK24 HSS
It's not in stock anywhere
Have to pay extra ~100$ since they'll order it from outside india
dont worry, the shipping fee will be well worth it if its a guitar you truely like
It'll cost me 48k/600$ so i'm just worried if there is anything better i can get for this price
is there a Sire S7 in your area?
the problem is there is limited availability in your area
if its what you like the most, get the pink one for 48K
as long as you enjoy it and get inspired by it
thats what really matters
Also i've to finalize the order than they?ll get it so i cant really just try it
well thats okay, im sure it will play great
yeah that RG is also beautiful
love that finish
But the S is so sleek and nice looking. I think in Darrel Braun guitar channel he played a gold/brown burst type S prestige and it's so damn gorgeous
Yeah I’ve seen that
It’s thin
Similar to This guitar
Yeah i think i can get it
Here are my options
Fender classic vibe 70s
Sire s7
Ibanez azes
Ibanez rg 420
Wait for the ibanez s561 to be available
What should i go for?
the sire s7 and rg420 might be out of my budget tho
Sire 100%
is it that good compared to the other ones? it's around 700$ here
also there are s7 and s7 FM, do you know what's the difference?
100 the best one
just the top wood and the color
oh the price difference is around 5k (~60$), which one should I go for?
Whichever you like the looks of better
