#any good recommendations for pedal?

it really depends on what your current rig is, amp and guitar, and what kind of tone you want to achieve
I am currently looking for one also. I've looked into this one for a while. My amp has a metal setting, but isn't really metal.
What's your rig?
@hollow pasture @feral cobalt I have boss katana mini and ibanez GRG121DX-BKF
i dont really know what is rig
and i dont have it
Set up
i dont have this software
What
i only have amp connected to guitar
i dont understand
Rig is your guitar rig your amp guitars pedals cab
Look at #rig-pics
yes i have only boss katana connected with my ibanez guitar and i wonder if i can add pedal for better sound quality in front of the boss katana
Ah ok! Your Katana has a lot of other effects you can use if you plug it into your computer, so definitely give that a go
As for other pedals, I think a good distortion pedal would do you well, as you already have reverb and delay built into the amp
Check out Tone City’s mini pedals, tonnes of good options for a good price
but katana mini has no software features and doesnt support many effects
If you plug it into a computer, you can get Boss Tone Studio, which gives you access to 55 effects
iirc
oh nvm, im wrong
my bad, I was thinking about the Air, not the Mini
In that case a good distortion pedal would do you well
okay, so whats your recommendations for pedals?
Tone City make a really good line of mini pedals, all of them are £55
i heard ds1 is good
I personally really like the Tone City Wildfire, but many people swear by the Golden Plexi as it's a Marshall-based distortion
Yeah
The only thing about buying a Boss pedal is that, more than likely, you can get that tone from your amp's gain stages already
bruh
ok so what about a pedal with good sound quality of for wide and long-lasting sounds
when i play solo and go something like 16 fret on high e string, the sound quickly dissapears
A compressor pedal will help your guitar sustain for longer
though in this case, it sounds like your guitar is choking out due to the action being too low
Which unfortunately isn't something that pedals can fix
action? the thing you can control high or low from the bridge?
Yeah, if your action is too low then the string will choke out
