#Mullard Vs JJ tubes, which one has better build quality and lifespan

I think basically mullard is more established and has a “better” tone JJ is more modern and cost effective but still produces reliable tubes
Depends on who you ask anyway
Electro Harmonics makesEHX,tung -sol, mullard, sovtek, Golden Lion and a few others. All made in russia, with current events I would choose JJs from Slovakia.
But quality wise or just because Russia is an asshole
Just because they invaded another country. Reason enough. Quality wise IDK. But would go JJs due to said issues.
Many of us have spent a great deal of time & money swapping out vacuum tubes in our amps in a quest for "better tone." Let's apply the scientific method & see if it was actually worth it!

Just try it I would say, also if you don't really push the power tubes very hard, they should last for a very long time.
OP didn't ask about sound and put the focus on build quality/longevity, so not sure what this video has to do with the thread.
Would take you 5 seconds to also look at the responses
But ig some people like playing professor
There's one little particle that refers to sound in the reply, which you tried to 'debunk' with a video. Still it has nothing to do with OPs question. Sorry to hurt your ego.
