#Harley Benton Amarok 7 BKNT or Schecter Demon 7?

What's the neck like? I'm buying online since I don't have any physical stores where I live. (Small island in the middle of nowhere)
Alright, thanks man.
I just want to add that neckthrough isn’t necessarily a good thing, especially on cheaper guitars. If the neck is fucked because its for example warped, you basically can through away your guitar. With a bolt on, you can replace the neck in a couple of minutes
Harley benton in general is an option, if youre located in the eu, because or rma. But i would also suggest you look at the cort kx507ms (https://www.thomann.de/intl/cort_kx507ms_star_dust_black.htm?) it costs a tad more, but you get a multiscale neck and fishmans.
Here are some pictures of mine, but it also comes in green #gear-pictures message
id go with schecter all the way. Yes the harley benton has some features you wont get for that price point on any other guitar but the schecter will have an overall better build quality. The harley benton has more chance to screw you up
If you are American, go schecter as import and VAT prices for Thomann have increased.
not really, shecter are import guitars as well and thomann/harley benton has a good QC. The HB will be way more stable when it comes to recording or overall playing
i mean anyone can do waht they want
I agree, HB has perfectly fine Quality control, and if there’s something wrong, there’s nothing that a little setup at guitar center can’t fix. @frozen hearth
And the HB is a much better guitar for the money
yeah ofc, i'm just giving advice with what i know 😄
Thanks for all the feedback guys, very helpful since I haven't bought any guitars over 100$ yet.
I'm going to the physical Thomann store in Burgebrach when I move there in a few months or in a year at max.
Another guitar caught my eye, it's a local guitar brand in the Philippines who managed to get a license to make replicas of the Peavey Devin Townsend signature flying v.
I've tested it about 3 times at this point. Plays really well.
Price dropped from 800 bucks down to 400.
Thats just false and misleading. A common way to cut down on production cost is to cheap out on qc. And if a guitar leaves a factory with a twisted neck or a misaligned bridge, you can do absolutely nothing about it
Refering to this
I get that, but HB’s aren’t affordable solely because they have bad QC which lowers price. the entire reason that Harley Benton’s are cheapest is because all of their parts are made in house. If this was another brand, then I could get those concerns.
And besides, Thomann has a return policy if it’s ever needed
@hybrid kestrel
You dont have to explain to me, how thomann works. I just pointed out, that what you said is nonsense.
If that’s what you think, then that’s fine
By intonation keys do you mean the key for the saddles on the bridge to pull or push them?
The part on the brass?
Oh
Which push and pull
Those just need screwdrivers
Lmao this has nothing to do with opinions. You just cant fix serious quality control issues with a setup. Period
Any kind of screwdriver
no no
I meant
are all screws universal
can I use intonation screws from strat as replacement
Fair, I though you were talking about the frequency of the bad QC control
Nvm then
yeah thats really the amazing thing about the amarok, the only non hb parts are the two emg humbuckers
