I have a Boss Katana Artist MkII Head... but no cab to run it trough.

I mostly play with Iron Maiden-ish tones
At least a 2x12

Harley Benton cabs are a deal and a half

Those harley benton g212 Vintage Look Sound good overal but i think they're a bit too harsh. Can an amp like the boss katana filter those frequenties out?

I say save up a tad more and get a proper Marshall cab

#

They’re not insanely expensive all things considered, only around 200 euro more

A k, something like a 1960 lead 4x12? Or a 2x12 like the 1936

#

I do like the bright but vintage-ish sound they deliver. I can always cut of the to harsh frequanties since its gonna be used with a boss katana artist.

I was also looking at second-hand cabs. There are many marshall 196a's for sale with some marks selling arround 350€. Is that something to consider or is new the way to go
