Been looking at martins and taylors and my preference so after even after trying a couple is martin

#

and preferably with a eletronic system so you can plug it into an amp

Fender Newporter is nice

Cutaways sound thin and it’s one of those models that aim to appease electric players. Imo, nothing beats a Martin dreadnaught

#

Even a Yamaha FG-830 sounds better than a newporter to my ears

looking at the PRS SE T20e thoughts?

are you willing to buy used? you could get pretty decent stuff

#

used for that kind of money

#

I'd suggest seagull s6

#

but their price jumped twice 😮

#

I bought mine for 430€ brand new

#

w/o electronic system tho

#

i really love mine

#

can't compare to some higher end guitars

#

cause I have not played them

#

but imo it swiped everything within its price range 🙂

#

found two in my local used website

#

pics of the cheapest one

#

could probably get like 500 for it

#

do you think its worth it to go the extra mile and get the electro version?

#

that one is s6+

#

idk if that makes a diference

#

yeah, its made by Godin

#

you probably heard for it

#

well, get electro only if you are going to play it plugged

#

in front of audience etc

#

but try it first

#

they have a bit wider neck

#

than I was used to

#

altough

#

it's the sound that made the choice

#

I adore mine 😄

#

this is on phone microphone

#

🙂

#

and not really played well rhytmicaly .but... 🙂

#

have in mind that electro version is cutaway body

#

probably bit more different sound

#

( probably resonates worse acoustically 😄 )

#

all in all, worth trying

#

@primal frigate also, not sure where are you based, check out if you have Levinson guitars around

#

tried one pretty good around ~500€

#

and for electro-acoustics
