Zeppelin was marketed for women, so its amusing to me when guys are huge Zepp fans but don't want to be them
They're very talented, for sure, but they also fall into that drug rocker phase where every song was a riff that went weird or off time and that was about it. Pioneers sure, but they were mostly just musicians who were high and trying to have sex all the time. I never got the feeling they were more into the art of it
As a guitarist it might be Cliche but I enjoy Van Halen since it's upbeat and fun to play. Some songs have musical value but some I'll admit are just kinda... run with a riff haha
