I played drums in a anime-themed mathrock band called Behelit for a bit. I've got some demos that we recorded like 5 years ago but never released.

What is Math rock? Any examples?

It's like rock, but with complex rhythms, tempos, and time signatures. And the time signatures always change
For instance, you know that most songs are in 4/4 time.
In math rock they could use irregular time signatures like 5/4, 9/8,6/4, 7/4, and more
They could use 4/4 time, but it might not stay 4/4 for the entire song, because the song would be changing time signatures.
