If you can find a used Epiphone masterbuilt Texan or Frontier, that'd be a great option.
Yeah, takamine are good
Seagull/Godin/Art&Lutherie
fender makes pretty good cheap acoustics
No they don't
not really sub 650 guitars anymore, but I'm always happy if someone buys godin!
honestly!!!
just got caught up, especially since the quebec plant's been shipping guitars out again - 850cad for an S6?!?!?!
(not that it isnt a fair price for a fine guitar... but it seems the days of an affordable canadian-made seagull/A&L are over)
kind of makes me sad to look as well, I got a multiac nylon for 950€, now it's 2000+ easily
sonoran comes with a poor plastic nut and bad bridge pins, the sound from the get go is horrendous, the redondo mini is all right, the cd-60 is not a double top and it lacks in sound compared to guitars that are double top. His budget is 650$ and takamine makes insanely good guitars in that price range that hit way above their weight class
damn
I didn't mean to get confrontational, my bad, sorry
Nah it's alright
Interesting reading that lol
Wierd that the Sonoran comes with a poor nut, bone nuts aren't that expensive no?
nope
but since the whole product is machined for as cheap as possible then it does make a little sense
His budget is 650 anyway so he would probably be better off with a more high-end fender acoustic if he were to buy one
Yeah
the problem is fender being overshadowed by so many other brands in the price range
I was thinking of getting the mini Redondo to use as a campfire guitar
I know @round plank swears by takamine
or was it someone else
anyway den is a super experienced guitarist and really knows his stuff
my genre is more flamenco and electric nylons
Yairi
Kazuo Yairi. Alvarez markets them in the US
Tough to find for this price range, but used you might. I got my WY-1TS used for $800 15 years ago
oh yeah i forgot u were the yairi guy
fender fa-125 or yamaha series F
https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LL16RHB--yamaha-ll16-are-original-jumbo-natural a little bit over the budget but this is the best guitar in the price range'
seagulls are great too, but their price have doubled in the last few years
I already ordered the Yamaha a1r
It was perfect for all my needs
But thanks for all of your guys suggestions
Nice, hope you’ll enjoy it @unborn dove
