#In need of a new guitar

I play mainly rock. I like soloing. I like old/classic rock. AC/DC, Guns, etc.. Would like SOME flexibility and be able to play a few different types of rock and a few clean tones. I have a $400 budget, no matter if it's new or used. I NEED a guitar that will last and have no or little unfixable issues. My current only electric guitar has a problem with the neck. It cannot straighten or have low action without insane fret buzz, and tried everything to fix it. Here is what I want in order from most to least important:

  • Whammy bar BUT NOT FLOATING BRIDGE
  • Maple neck (roasted preferably)
  • Strat/superstrat look
  • Simple gradient body colour
    This would be my third guitar and second electric

Honestly i have a few guitars with tremolo, and i’ve never had to use it once.

Yamaha has one of the better QC consistency ive seen among guitars, the pacifica series has always been a reliable and decently built line

Between the two I would go for the 112

I don’t think the “fancyness” of the 212 is worth the extra price. Besides, I really like the neck on the 112. Tried it at a store and felt great
