I use the Dunlop john Petrucci picks and those are pretty solid, good for chugs and whatnot
jazz III 3s are some of the most common picks used for metal and shred they are 1.38mm and relatively small but comfortable
Can recommend jazz 3s as well
If they are too small you can try jazz 3 XL
Tried and tested shape
I recommend to buy different picks:
Jazz 3 1.38 (red one)
Tortex TIII 0.88 (0.73 bend itself in the middle, all the series have sh1tty ink, but sharp point is nuts)
Regular pick about 1mm
If Kerry king used them they must’ve been good right?
Is it like a condensed triangle shape? Sharp triangle is what I mean
I use 1.5 mm Dunlop Sharps
Also Jazz IIIs
Sometimes fender extra heavy on bass if I'm in a pick mood the black ones with extra grip
Funny thing, I have those same picks, I don't like them very much but they work, plus they have 3 tips so if one or two sides break you still have another side to pick
some good picks i use are 1mm dunlop jazz picks, they smaller than normal picks and imo better
I love small picks
I alternate between Dunlop flow .88 and jazz 3 picks. I’m better at pinch harmonics and tremelo picking single notes on jazz 3’s. They’re good for fast stuff for metal
Are they torex triangle?
Is there a triangle version @faint idol
There’s these but I personally don’t like them as much
That’s closer, and those r the jazz?
No
The jazz is the black one here
I’ll get those
Let me know how they are 👍 they may take a few minutes to get used to because they’re small
Honestly I really like Kirk Hammetts. They're really cool looking and they're amazing for metal. I've been using them for a while now and they're amazing
I’ll try those too
