very good klon clone, should be 20-30 bux
boss has SD-1
if you want something slightly gnarlier there's tubescreamers, Joyo has "Vintage Overdrive" and Behringer has "TO-800 Vintage Tube Overdrive" which are tubescreamer clones, should be around 25 buxx each
digitech bad monkey on reverb, you can find them around 50-70 dollars, but if thats too expensive then go with the ones the people above me noted.
You can find used pedals for extremely cheap
is that a solid pedal
yuss
TC Electronics have a good selection of pedals in that price range.
Check out caline pure sky too
donner sells a pedals kit for like 75 dollars on amazon
The Joyo vintage overdrive is amazing and it’s only about $35 USD on Amazon, but I’ve only really used it on bass so I can’t really speak to its effectiveness on guitar, but from my experience it’s an amazing tubescreamer-like overdrive pedal.
Look at the Cinders OD pedal from Tc electronic. I got mine for like 30$
i bought some cheap ass pedals from behringer a while back, and they’re actually not all that bad. but they’re basically just boss pedal knockoffs
The behringer line of pedals is amazing
I love the sound of the blues driver, but it was too expensive. I bought the behringer version and it’s the exact same for 30$
@mental trellis
The TC Electronic Dark Matter is also solid
And used Boss DS-1s are like $40-$50 a pop
Most pedals are cheaper used
The Caline Pure Sky is one of the best sounding overdrives for it's price on the market. While it was based on the sounds found in the Timmy Overdrive pedal, we put it up against the Vemuram Jan Ray Overdrive which is also based on the same pedal but is at the more expensive side of the market. We both felt like there wasn't much in it, which ...
mine is arriving in few days
🙂
25usd for this little thing 🙂
all in all, what I have found so far this and joyo vintage overdire ( ts style ) get much love
and they stack fine too
I have ordered both too btw so...I may post some results with my boss katana
I was about to say 'I wish I could justify spending that kind of money on a pedal' before I remembered I have a Garbage Face and a LORE on my board
Do post results tho
I mean, I ordered both Joyo Vintage OD and Caline Pure Sky
not Vemuram
😄
Vemuram costs same as my amp damn 😄
Oh lol
I'm kind of guy that don't mind spending money on quality..but I'll try to squeeze and find best possible thing for the money I am willing to pay 😄
that's how I got this fgn telly 🙂
Entirely fair
I mean, sure, it could be tweaked (and especially played) better
but you can find that on yt 😄
Joyo
its the one that's coming next 🙂
mooer pedals are alright. they're all compact, made of metal, and 30 bucks a pop
heard that too
At that price point I would look at TC Electronic pedals which are a good bang for the buck and used. Behringer can be a bit hit or miss
Electro-Harmonix also makes a boost around $50, although the TC Electronic boost should be ok
Behringer is just plastic, I feel like if I apply anything other than light pressure I'll cave it in
Some of their pedals have been hit or miss I'm saying
so I usually go for TC Electronic, who is a pretty safe bet
I haven't heard about them being hit or miss
The reverb pedal for example was a miss
Compared to the Boss reverb?
it didn't entirely turn off for one
Apparently behringer casings are durable plastic? It’s the internals that might not last?
Plastic isn’t automatically weak lol
idk...I just know that behringer are boss copies
and they are good ones at that
Tjat is good to know, they are pretty cheap
best lead boost is a boss GE-7. 50dollar pedal secondhand
Check out Behringer, they have some great cheap pedals
i'm getting one this christmas
have fun with it
I think thats the only distortion/dirt pedal beside boss ds-2 I'll need
thanks mate.
What kind of music do you play?
everything, pretty much
