#2022 Prediction! (lookback)
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
the faith we all had in danny ric…
At least I got Zhou scoring some points right.
Zhou beats bottas (by any means, DNF's, outraces etc) for at least 1/3 of the races.
I wonder if this happened.
valtteri 15 - zhou 7
so he was one race off
Got half right, Half absolutely wrong.
Shame we didn't see Toto smashing tables or headsets
close enough, was a fairly respectable performance
Also Bottas-Zhou is the pairing nobody knew we needed in pre season
Let's hear everyone's prediction for 2022 and see how wrong everyone is after the end of the season.
WDC, WCC, mid season driver change? When will WDC be determined? Will Andretti be allowed in F1? Will VW Group pull out again? Will Sainz beat Leclerc? Will Haas be last again?
Just predictions, no discussions (hence the 6hr slowmode)
This thread will be archived in 3 days.
Ricciardo will continue to underperform and be out of a seat by 2024.
Russell will struggle with emotions at Merc and disrupt the team, causing them to lose out on performance.
Sainz will score Ferrari's first win in 2022
Haas will finish 5th with a podium for both KMag & MSC

predicting rb to have the quickest car, lewis to have enough fight in him to make up for that and both teams to sacrifice their number 2 enough to allow ferrari a number of podiums. hopefully another nail biter of a season
I think Ferrari will be the quickest this time
My fav driver, george russell, takes the chequered flag, and wins the azerbajian and belgian grand prix!
- Merc edging out on mclaren by a bit
- Mclaren snaps
- Ferrari's leclerc might get a bit worse, but still wins the monaco gp
- Red bull as sergio perez starts struggling
- Alphatauri might get up as yuki starts to be better with gasly carrying the team with 150 pts
- Alpine
- williams latifi is beginning to get to his prime age with albon doing solid
- Aston martin as stroll might dnf more
- Alfa Romeo with bottas carrying the team
- Hahahaas might just focus too much on 2022 car but miss some few things making it unbalanced
- We will have at least 3 fastest cars at different points in the season (merc, ferrari and rbr). i predict a lot of swings and roundabouts in the season with the development. maybe mclaren will join the party.
- No one on the podium except the top 4 teams (merc, mclaren, rbr and ferrari).
- A gargantuan battle for p5 between aston, alpine and alpha tauri.
- Rus outqualifies Lewis
- Albon beats Latifi over the season, but none of them score any points.
- Zhou beats bottas (by any means, DNF's, outraces etc) for at least 1/3 of the races.
- Someone moans about the cost cap.
WDC Leclerc WCC Ferrari. 2nd Mercedes. 3rd red bull. Haas first podium.
One more prediction: Lewis doesn't have the best car, but does the best driving of his career, and mops the floor with Russel. (Hamilton hater here btw. Can't deny he's fast.)
WDC - Verstappen
WCC - Redbull
Aston Martin will get their First win likely in 2nd half
Russell gets out raced by Lewis
Alonso gets on to Podium Lewis Finishes in 3rd in WDC.
Norris and Sainz gets their first wins. Yuki his first Podium.
Mick gets Points but Magnussen beats him in standings.
Toto will smash more tables and head sets
Ferrari to take constructors championship and Leclerc for drivers championship
Very close fight for WCC and WDC both
Merc and RB will also contend for the front but Ferrari will win eventually
Verstappen will get more points than Hamilton by a margin again
Hamilton will get more points than Russel for this season atleast
Perez drop in performance
Tsunoda improvement
Haas and Williams much closer to points than before
Williams seem better off in long term
Miracle haas podium for kmag (even bolder one haha)
Alpine will be at 5th again, not much change
Alfa Romeo at the back
Wins for Sainz and Norris
Podium(s) for gasly, vettel, alonso, ocon
Bottas struggles initially but gets to grips with the car as the year moves on
Magnussen will outperform Mick
Title contenders: Leclerc, Max, Sainz, Hamilton, Russell
Best improvements: Tsunoda, Norris, Albon
One more prediction: Hulkenberg finishes P17 in wdc.

- Albon
- Zhou
- Hulkenberg
- Piastri
- Latifi
- Kubica
- Fittipaldi
- Included a few reserve drivers in because I feel we could see some more absences due to Covid. And I think every driver up there scores points aside from Kubica and Fittipaldi
- Predicting Leclerc to have a monster year and to adapt really well to these new cars, doing enough to keep away a highly motivated Hamilton. Top three teams will be clearly ahead of the rest and I feel Mercedes and Ferrari ends up developing their cars over the season better than Red Bull
- Russell and Sainz finally get their first wins and each end up with two. No one wins a race outside the top five, although Red Bull still like Perez enough to keep him for 2023.
- Aston Martin starts off the season relatively slow but recovers later on with their development. In spite of that Vettel retires and is replaced by Gasly for 2023 while AT replace him by promoting Lawson
- Haas starts off with a fast car, enough for Mick to get into Q3 at Bahrain. But lack of development, reliability issues, and mistakes by Mick and Magnussen see them finish the season only 8th best. Also feel Mick and Magnussen could have a few on track clashes and develop into a rivalry
Carlos Sainz will win the first and last race of the season
I'll start (or second). Zhou finish above Bottas in 2 wet races of 2022.
Scroll up ...nvm
