Why do they become partners? Might be good to have that in the logline too
I tried to include it jsut now
sorry for the late response
I’ve been focused on writing this
All good, always the best reason to have taken time to answer haha. A few questions that may be of use:
- When you say "wounded" career criminal, do you mean physical wound or emotional wound?
- Minor thing but should be a hyphen in "drug-addicted"
- Why is an assassin being sent after them rather than the person just being banned? Seems a little extreme out of context
- Is the main POV of the movie the criminal or the cheater? I'm assuming it's the criminal but just want to make sure because the logline makes it a tiny bit muddy
-
I mean physically wounded

Well this is a bit explained in the story, but basically the casino that the “drug-addicted gambler” is cheating, has connections to the mob and organized crime. they had already banned him, but the gambler would then pay off dealers in order to keep up with his ripping off of the casino (this is pre cameras)

It’s more from the perspective of the criminal id say. Although the amount of time the two are shown is basically 50/50.
so their isn’t really a “perspective” of one or the other. It’s like a tale.

What drugs does he use? How does he present himself? Do people know that he is a drug-addict?
