<@&698916665710215209> The OPC is a weekly event, challenging all to write and submit a single page corresponding to that week's Elements. While the page needs to be enjoyable on its own, it does not need to be a complete story.

All entries must be standard screenwriting format and must not include a cover page. Entries based off of existing work will be disqualified on weeks with prizes.

Last week @zenith briar took top prize, congrats!

I did not expect this to go where it did, but I'm glad it happened. Feedback very welcome!

Absolutely love this.

I'm not completely sold on the "Like a Venus Flytrap" line. It costs a line and, unless you really like the foreshadowing, doesn't add a lot.

Not about writing style, but if Mr. Matt were dressed up in a brighter colored suit -- Mr. Clean-eqsue -- I think that would be hilarious. I'm imagining his character like Vector in Despicable Me but more mysterious.

The rug is amazing, very Alexa. If you had more space I would've loved to see it say something like "I could not hear your request. Please try again."

Love this feedback!
||I won't lie I totally thought i was hot shit with the venus flytrap line and worked really hard to get it in. But based on your feedback it doesn't seem to work, I was going to move it to the end when the rug is wrapping him up (ex: The Rug begins to ROLL ITSELF TOGETHER with GREG in IT like a VENUS FLYTRAP.) instead of using it as foreshadowing.||
I am curious if that would work better?
