This reminds me a lot of Brightburn, but you're probably not going for that level of aggressiveness and horror, right?

You should check it out for ideas if you haven't, it really shows the evolution of the main character ||exploring his powers and finally using them for bad||

I’ve watched brightburn, great concept, ok movie but no I’m not going for horror film, it’s mostly just drama, more like the joker in a cleaner way

When a shy bookish Highschooler gains levitation powers he eventually overlies on them them for personal gain and popularity until they send him on a downward spiral of destructive violence that effect's him, his friends and unsuspecting family

May I suggest Fly Schooler as a title?
