@summer elbowYour method cannot remove it from here:

i don't see it on that page. it's probably only visible to you
@summer elbowI just switched to another account to access the link above, and Starbound - Unstable is still the last one.
Anyway, the existence of Starbound - Unstable will affect at least 0.1% of the refund rate — for example, players like me who enjoy organizing our game libraries.
do mark as private instead then
i dont see it
I can't see it now either, but this can only be considered a temporary solution. If you truly embrace the spirit of craftsmanship, you should remove it from Steamworks.
After testing, setting it to "Hide this game" + "Mark as private" prevents others from seeing "Starbound - Unstable", while I can still see it on the website. This still cannot solve the perfectionist player's OCD problem: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198451384102/games/?tab=all&l=english
If you continue to ignore this, I believe that more players will leave the game forever in the future, just like I am doing now.
i think you're the only person on earth who will ever experience this sorry
If you had spent just one minute searching on Google, you wouldn't have jumped to conclusions so quickly.

2 of those are the same person, 1 is talking about uninstalling it from a computer instead of removing it from a Steam library (and just says "We don't have a full description for Starbound - Unstable just yet, but you can help," I bet there's an automatically-generated page for everything on Steam), and one is saying "I want to remove it because the full game is coming out," even though Unstable was still used after that
this isn't even people asking how to remove it, it's just people explaining what it is
starbound untable #1 best game on steam of all time
Making changes is really too difficult for you. No wonder Starbound has become a niche game now.
are you expecting us to be making these changes
i dont think an old unstable branch is why starbound is niche i think its because its 10 years old and bad
Terraria is also a very old game, yet it remains in the TOP 10 to this day.
yeah well this isnt that
Terraria just got a huge update like a week ago
terraria should have an unstable branch
also Terraria isn't bad
@pulsar dust Yes, the developers of Terraria are smarter and more diligent. They would add unstable versions here.
this would suck
i'd probably remove terraria from my library if it did an unstable branch like this.... maybe even go on their discord & make weird demands for them to remove it
i would personally also insult and blame people who have nothing to do with the development team of the game.
The developers of Terraria wouldn't have such low taste as to create a separate beta app without even a banner.
this seems like such a non-issue
i wonder why
hi i’m here now too
I think the blank case looks neat actually tbh
starbound unstable is my most played game. i have over 5000 hours in starbound unstable. every year on my steam replay theres a weird blank spot because starbound unstable doesnt render correctly. i wouldnt have it any other way this rules
I have this Blockbusters game case from when I rented Sonic Heroes as a kid. they went outta business when the period ended so they just said to keep it. still have it to this day
more games should do this
i have one like that as my favorite game on my profile. never played it, but it stands out and it cool as hell
but only like 7 otherwise it stops being special
tbh the unstable branch is pretty convenient
easy to load into a vanilla game and not uninstall 15 quadrillion mods
a lot of people do use it for that
getting rid of it kinda just seems shortsighted at best
myself included, i guess. but thats not really why i do it like that. making a separate instance is very easy it's just way funnier to build up hours on unstable
(hence not getting rid of it lmao)
1.5 update WILL come to unstable any day now trust
it would be funny if it got shadow dropped
they should remove starbound from steam
I agree.
