trees in my space station just wont grow i get the other ones on the left probably have no space so i put one on the right by its self with enough tiles from both sides and vertically with empty space i removed the platforms for it to grow up not sure if platforms stop it from growing or what but despite all that its still like this and didnt grow at all for the past 7hrs of gameplay

you need a lot more upwards space for them to grow
if a sapling doesnt grow after 10 minutes, it wont grow there unless you give it more space
saplings also dont need to be watered or to be planted on tilled soil, but it looks nice!

oh xD well damn and the game wont let me expand any further upwards but i dont wanna take em out and put them elsewhere this greenhouse was made for them 😦
but yea this is the other side still working on it i just dumped things to use for now but stylize later

no, but there is a mod that replaces the starting space station with one that's just a platform you can build off. you can install it but you will need to make a new space station for it to be free-build
you can also use settileprotection admin commands to build outside your current one

yea but even with that it still wont let me build outside of it even some parts of the space station wont break but some will u can also see in that screenshot i was trying to paint the whole thing black but i tried also using settileprotection command hoping it might let me paint but some spots just wont let me paint or break
