Did you have or used to have an inventory mod? I think that error has to do with those. If you get an inventory mod, you have to start with new characters. If you uninstall an inventory mod, you have to start with new characters. You can't keep existing characters midway and still play them.

i downloaded an inventory mod on an existing user, didnt work properly so i uninstalled it

go on your ship and type /whereami. the string of numbers and letters that appear is your player's file name. right-click SB in Steam, click 'properties > browse local files', go to storage/player and send me the player file. I can repair it

im currently on a planet, i can see an unloaded world for a second before getting kicked

nope. try loading the character again so the file can be read, then sort the player folder by most recently modified
