There's high chances we will though with Zelensky in charge. Whole Donbas invasion began few months after Euromaidan ended, the government and army being in shambles. That's why I'm not surprised nor denying that there were severe violations on our side, since most of the capable fighters were fresh, uncontrolled volunteers and president of that time, Poroshenko, probably wasn't all that bothered by it (the guy revived ukrainian military but still has so much shit behind him)
With current amnesty report, it really seems just what val said: good point, inconvenient timing. Something like this could hinder the western support, but at the same time I don't see why it would, war crimes are expected from both sides
