I wanted to create this thread to share my hopes of what's to come in the remaster:

I really hope they don't go overboard with remixing the music, because the original soundtrack was immaculate. (Though I think they are planning to "Color splashify" the music with orchestras which I am sad about)

I hope they don't censor the over the top stuff they had in the original, because I just am hoping they keep it close to the original for the full experience for new players. (Like how every female character would kiss mario - I know it's a sexist theme, but it's kinda just part of how unhinged the game got at times)

I'm not a huge fan of the individual text box noises, but that's probably just the nitpicky nostalgiablind side of me

Again with the colorsplash-ified stuff, I didn't love the look of the outlining they did on characters and such, I think the original look of TTYD fit the game of TTYD because it looked older

I really hope they put an onscreen timer into the peach potion making minigame

I should say, I am glad that they are putting effort into this all. I know it is a remaster and so it should be altered to feel new. That being said thought, I wish they would leave in a bit of what made the original have it's magical feel

It's mostly the heavy change to the soundtrack which I am disappointed about, but at the end of the day, these are things I will get over. And I still have my og Gamecube TTYD copy so I can go back to that for the feels if need be

hi i am playing this game for the first time and its a lot of fun but i accidently got stuck in the stupid tower of peril because i thought i needed to do it to contine the story and now im stuck fighting people because i couldnt find the stupid mob boss pianta i looked everywhere i even spent money trying to find the path help me i am having a meltdonw

ohhh i see, i got confused because i couldnt tell the difference between east and west so i was looking for some crack in the wall on the west side for AGES 😭god im so stupid

i know how to talk to that guy ishnail now anyway so i should be able to figure it out from there (hopefully)

Fun fact: I accidentally beat the ||pit of 100 trials|| (blind) before starting chapter 2

||gg prepare to basically oneshot everything once you get the bump attack/first attack badge for most of the game now||

||for context I did it after chapter 4 and with those badges insta killing the enemies of chapters 5-6
It wasn't until chapter 7 the badges really stopped insta killing them and I had to do the full battle for em||

||Honestly I had to disable em multiples times as I was 100%ing the tattle log||

||people who did the secert whacka fight how hard would you describe it? i personally did not find it hard at all. you can beat it in one turn if you charge like ten times & use atk boosting stuff like power lift||

||i still need to do the mush fight but i have no idea how to activate it tbh||

||you auto activate it after beating chapter 5 I believe, you get an email telling you about it
If you go to the refight option in the glitz pit he should show up at the top
I don't think you need to become champ again to do his fight||

||didn't work clearly considering im in post game. i think it apparently has something to do with a trouble but i plan to do those at the very very end after i get all the badges & recipes n stuff||
