#The Niche Game Community

Hi
(also no, crosscode is not niche, the thing has more reviews on steam than the other 3 games i mentioned have on all platforms combined)
sure
Hmm
I've got the most niche game ever, it was an xbox live arcade exclusive, and I am one of the only people in the world to have uploaded a video on it. In fact it's probably so niche that nobody here even cares. The game is called "Really Scary"
It's a series, Really Scary 1, 2 and 3
I've uploaded (bad quality) videos of Really Scary 1 and Really Scary 3 here if anyone is interested:

Luckily I recently got a capure card so I will re-record all of this in 1080p VERY SOON (The current videos are recorded on a chromebook camera pointed at my tv 💀 )
ooo
Maybe one day capcom will release Zack and wiki 2…
It one of my favorite childhood games and I just wanna see them again
So, Call of Duty huh?
Loo
To be fair at this rate call of duty may just be well known but have a niche community of people who enjoy the latest title
i cant send links :(
how am i gonna tell people about my favorite niche nintendo ds game now
(its Ecolis: save the forest, incase anyone wants to look into it. note that its known as eco-creatures: save the forest outside of japan and europe)
cute little somewhat pikmin-like rts for the nintendo ds (pikmin like in that you command a bunch of ittle guys while controlling a figure thats physically present on the battlefield, not in that theres big areas to explore and collect stuff in)
see the thing about this game is
no matter how good it is or not im just sad people dont know it
Im playing a pretty obscure and unusual game right now
Its called: Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls Of Tong-Nou
I like this big guidebook to Tong-Nou that you can find
Ooo
https://youtu.be/pcU1o_6UyR8?si=wK2vcyiBKzswTuHt Heres a really interesting video about LSD: Dream Emulator (I havent gotten around to watching the whole thing yet because its quite long, also I think I might want to look through the book for myself at some point first)
#lsddreamemulator #retrogaming #gamereview
In this video, I spend 13 minutes talking about LSD Dream Emulator and 50 minutes reading Lovely Sweet Dream, an artbook/ dream diary that came out only in Japan.

I still need to play this game at some point
I'll watch it later
Found a game which ig isn't as niche now but still a bit via jelloapocalypse
Watched about 10 minutes into it and stopped to play the demo it's pretty interesting. In Stars and Time if you wanna check it out
Best way to describe it is you're at the final dungeon of an rpg and also in a time loop. You're siffrin, the guy who speeds up the team and checks for traps, meaning you die a lot. Also the combat is based on rock paper scissors so every enemy and party member is rock paper or scissors and the way you figure out what type enemies are is cool
Like here look at this image. It contains everything you need to know which of the two enemies not being hit is which type
Ooo
Spoiler for if you give up on guessing
||look at the hands||
Demo is also pretty meaty. Like hour of content
I’ll contribute Invisigun: Reloaded. A party game where (if you couldn’t guess from the name) the core conceit is that everyone’s invisible and is trying to shoot the players with a gun. It’s genuinely one of the best games I’ve played, but it’s all but dead now bc it never caught on
Turns out, when all the gameplay is invisible, it’s really hard to market it to new people
It’s $5 on steam or switch, and free on mobile but you have to pay to unlock every character
And it supports crossplay between all three
But like I said, the game’s basically dead and the only way to play a match is to ask on the invisigun discord or convince a couple friends to play it with you
