Was thinking about the movie, cuz I saw some fanart earlier. And I wonder how they're gonna do the family. Like if the mom is African or White, Visa versa for the dad. And if any of the mermaids will be dark skinned. It'd might be off putting if both parents and the rest of her family are white. I wouldn't personally mind it, but others have their opinions.
