I had the same issue on the ranger while doing breach in t15s, so i changed the most used skill to L1 and dodge to r1 so can u can dodge shoot and aim at the same time

If you turn it off there will be exp penalties for the person being carried

I don't know if we have details, but it's very harsh if one party member is super high level to the point they one shot everything, the downscale severely cuts down your damage output so even the low level player can contribute, haha

And yes, if you're up to the same quest it will unlock for both, key items drop for both players

Side note if you do couch co-op and one character is finished with acts, it sometimes makes quest progression impossible until the high level player leaves the party, it's moments where something changes on the map and requires a quest item/interaction, the one I remember is|| blowing the horn in act 2||

there isn't a tab for endgame that I'm aware of unless you mean hideout. The endgame zone is a waypoint at the bottom of the act 3 cruel tab ziggurat refuge(past) I think it's called. If you are talking hideout, you need to select a hideout first by talking to Alva in the endgame zone after unlocking one. This can be done by finding one on the atlas and clearing it out. alternatively if you bought an expensive pack that includes one you can just select it from Alva right away.

Map bosses is the most straight forward since you just kill them

I had a POE1 account i played on pc. but as im on vocation and i dotn have access to pc, i have a ps5 here, so i connected (linked) my ps5 account to may poe1 account i had. It even said that the link is permanent and cont be undone. So in the poe website i have 2 accounts now, that i can switch between (both have access to poe2, i have boutght the Steam access on my 1 account and ps5 access on the other)
So i guess i have registered it with GGG but linking my ps5 account to my PC one. Then even have the same email address, but guess that is not the question here.
I also think that if ill make a new ps5 account form scrach and but the early access again, and just use that to log in the poe2 trade via ps5 ingame trade option i wont have the problem, but should i really spent another 30 usd to try 😄

Damn, i understand now. It’s a but rough, i think you are right, you need a brand new account to link bcs propably there’s a conflict in between these two.
That could be a solution

If you bought it with the actually ps5 account you’re using, you just need to put that account as “main account” on the console, and with the new one, you normally download the version you have on the main account. You just need to remember to keep that account as main on the console, no need to spend more money

Ps has a “main account system” that allows you and all the other accounts you have on the console to access the games the main account has bought.
So if you put that account as the “main one” all the other can access to the downloadable content you have on the Main.

You just need to go into system, and allows “offline reproduction” or something like that to make it become the main one

Log out, go to the alt account and start the download of PoE, so you can Connect a different GGG profile to it

are you talking about the Crowbell in the Hunting Grounds? He runs down to a little boss arena and you chase him down to there to defeat him. The rituals are the big pentagram things on the ground you click them and fight some mobs and move to the next one, usually 3-4 per zone when they are there. But you don’t -need- to do any of that to progress the main quest so i could be wrong on where you are at

so, and i’m not 100% sure on this, but i think what you need to do is make a (free) PC account on the poe1 website, and then once you have made that you follow the links to link your PS5 account to your PC account. it will open a window to Sony and have you punch in your PSN info and then it will connect your two accounts together. Then, you can log in via PC on your PC account and switch to your console account on the previously mentioned button in the top left of char select screen. your MTX won’t transfer over between PS and Console tho, unfortunately it’s due to Sony

otherwise, i think you can go on the poe1 website and hit the Playstation link button where it says create account and just make 1 single account from there but like i said the MTX won’t transfer over so it’s probably better to have 2 accounts if you want to use MTX on both platforms

I believe it is based on area level first one is from t15 next would be a t16 or t15 with either irradiated or corruption. Next would be t15 with both irradiated and corruption or t16 with either. If you have already had 3 books you need to kill a boss on a node that also has irradiated and corruption while using a t16 waystone. You can get a t16 waystone by using a vaal orb on a t15 waystone(not 100% chance just a potential outcome)

I'd like to post my experiences playing couch co-op with my wife on PS5. Level 70 Warrior and 67 Sorceress. Both at Maps.

• Quest progress is very messy, if we are different points in story, some events will not happen or progress. Requires solo play to work around. Using Horn to clear sandstorm, clearing grim tangle path, speaking to Hoody at chapel end of Act 2, anything involving co-op play and time portal

• If one character is at the point wherein || you time travel || attempting to continue together brings you to a screen which you cannot play of take action. Requires player 1 and 2 to separately login and travel to a waypoint away from Ziggurat. We individually warp to drowned city and manually travel to Ziggurat Refuge Past, being at Maps prevents use of Waypoints if player2 is mid campaign. Seems like game cant consolidate which time period to use

• Couch co-op party settings are not functioning and it does impact our ability to iniate maps. Requires swapping player 1 and 2 positions for us personally. After 200 hours of left and right screen play, jarring to say the least to swap end game.

• If one player dies during a map, and the game crashes, upon restart in 2 player mode, we are unable to continue from the Map Device portals. Have yet to try solo play as wife (surviving player) to see if clear is possible. recieve console message "unable to continue map you died on"

I did play ahead solo a few times, which may have brought about alot of these issues.

Love the game as presented and can't wait for full release.

I think they need to add being able to move the cursor with the left stick and the dpad does the snapping to the next option, Soo as controller players we can still move it anywhere and actually be able to check out stats in the character screen. The further you progress the area level of the enemies go higher which mean higher level skill gems drop. As you progress you’ll drop plenty of skills gems so much so that you’ll stop picking them up. There’s nothing to worry about so just use the highest level skill gems on your damage abilities first as you’ll notice the largest difference

See, you will get good gear, skills and earn passive points as you progress ..so make sure you disenchant items, build a better passive by investing in attack damage nodes early on,, salvage items for runes

should be able to just press x on the 2nd controller when at the character select screen

got it working, first had to add another local/offline user account to the ps5 itself, then on secondary controller hold the ps-logo button down until get option to select the new ps5 user, only then in poe2 character selection screen did we get character selection menus on both the left and right of the screen

wasn’t difficult, just wasn’t clear how to go about doing it, but that’s not really poe2’s fault, more of a playstation quirk

How do i get tier 6-7 atlas maps when i only have tier 2s left? Vendor only selling max tier 2.

The trade site should have a ton tbh. None in the currency section, just in the individual item section. If not, the vendor has unlimited lvl 1 maps. You gotta buy enough lvl 1 maps to craft up to 6 or 7. 3x3x3x3x3x3 x 5000 gold

Or run some more maps and get maps. Make sure you're also investing as much into waystone nodes on the atlas passive tree to keep the flow smooth better and have atlas sustain

Has anyone figured out the exact failproof way to fully enable trade cross platform?

I realized the settings were blocking me from getting trade offer whispers and then tinkered with settings until I finally received one offer whisper, but since then it hasn't worked

I've gotten the frustrating ambiguous silent party invites and on pc I get whispers, but still nothing on ps5 and I didn't change anything since it worked that once
