Otherwise great game. Just reached Cruel. Whole act 3 was easy. Just a nonstop run through. Far too big maps though.

4th character to 80-85. I've got 130 3rd/4th ascendancy sanctum maps...I've gotten 2 Ultimatum maps for 3rd/4th ascendancy...both bugged. and it's impossible to run sanctum on PlayStation. If by chance you get an hourglass room on floor 3 or 4. You're run is over because the screen freezes when mobs spawn in...4 characters...128h and can't do last two ascendancy in any of them....and no eta on a fix..

It was buggy as hell for me. Player 1 progress stopped on first room (gauntlet, wiped everything but the last door would not open. Five tries.) But with Player 2 opening the trial everything worked.

POE is a CPU intensive game and the PS5 pro has the same old cpu - so no gain in that. Secondly, PSSr is not good, it is only slightly better while dealing with Sony first party games but you won't see any major difference. Conclusion - PS5 pro is for people who have shit ton of money and don't mind spending to acquire the latest technology irrespective of the performance.

Playing this on the Pro on my Samsung OLED. Been playing it all day. Runs amazing on the Pro. Can put it at 60hz or 120hz if you want a lovely sharp image. You can put it on quality mode with all bells and whistles and put PSSR on and locked at 60fps. Have had some dips in some towns, but not game breaking.

As for PSSR, games should give PS 5 Pro users an option to disable it,, and just run the base PS5 version on the pro until those games get their act together or they should just not throw on the PS5 enhance tag onto their games without optimizing the game first.

ps5 performance can be somewhat remedied at the cost of visuals. Switch to FSR - Quality, with 100% sharpness, and enable dynamic culling at the bottom of the graphics.

To fix coins missing (my ones were as well as my armour) download PoE 1 and load it up. Go to the store and you’ll have your stuff. Then go to PoE2 and you’ll have all your stuff

I think it's called screen tears.
I play ps5 on a monitor , that shouldn't get screen tears.
And I get horrible tears in many of the areas. Switching back and fourth between 60 Hz/120hz helps sometimes .
But it can get so bad that I can hardly even see what's going on. I see many others with the same issue on ps5

Gotta say I’m actually really let down by the end game. It is already just Poe 1 blast on repeat.

Fun feeling to shred a boss in seconds at first but it loses a lot of luster to just screen clear and then spend 2 seconds on a boss.

They nailed act 1-3 normal difficulty - power creep goes to hard from cruel onwards.

Stack resists and blast screen clear. Everything is “giga fast melt ultra mega destruction”

Also implementing better cursor navigation in menus. Use the dpad to snap to different options like it is now, and then when you move the left stick it functions just like any other typical console cursor system that we typically avoid. When you use an orb on rare gear, I know you get 3 random modifiers, but do those end up opening sockets on them or are the modifiers just a boost to something like energy shield, armor res, etc?

Not sure exactly what you are asking, there are a lot of “orbs”. Artificer orbs are the ones that add sockets and that’s their only job.

and no modifiers like what exalted orbs would add to a rare cannot be sockets

vaal orb can potentially add an additional socket I believe as one of its random effects

I’ve tried this setting and I’m having terrible performance issues when there is a lot of action - rubber banding, significant frame rate loss to the point where it looks like it’s paused sometimes, loss of visual fidelity that look like it’s down to 16 bits (mostly during boss battles)

Having performance issues basically on all settings. Yes, I know it’s early access and was expecting some trouble, but finding it hard to play. It’s gotten much worse in Act 2.

Does anyone know if stash tabs and cosmetics will be supported cross platform? I started on PC and ended up getting the game on PS5 but noticed that I cant use the cosmetics that I bought on PC. Stash tabs are read only as well.

The graphical quality improves on maps however the fps drop and studdering and screen tearing persist
Theres only a handful of places in the game where the performance is normal

But the game ran fine right at release :/

Yeaaah i know. Hopefully it will be optimized better soon. Ps5 caps at 60fps so nothing we can do about it. Still a sick game tho
