I think it’s pretty safe to assume they will be fixing everything before the official launch, the first game ran really well on PS5 from what I experienced, and this game is still in early access. Imo, as long as there’s no game ruining bugs or save corruption issues, im cool with the game not being fully optimized.

3rd and 4th point is just a weird server issue, using a wired connection is highly recommended and setting the graphic option to performance, FSR and only shadows will be beneficial,, please tick dynamic scaling too

The enemy AI and design is heavily inspired by FromSoft,, and I can say that GGG has done an exceptional work here.. not on par but they are pretty close

@lucid fox seems to be an instance issue. If you get online or disconnected and can not receive invitations after getting back online try sending them an invite then warp to them once they have joined your group. Only way around we have found on PS

Yes,,, both poe1 and poe2 EA is lit on PS5,,, pc is always better but if your pc is dead you must definitely play it on PS.. as poe2 is EA , definitely there are frame drops, stutters but nothing ground breaking

My problem is deeper I guess.
I bought PS5 EA on a new account.
Then I bought Steam EA on my Steam account and linked it to my new POE account (the one I bought PS5 EA on).
The problem is I somehow had a 10 years old poe1 account already linked to steam. So 10 years ago I probably tested Poe1. So this 10 years old account got the Steam coins and my new account the PS5 coins.
And it seems like I can’t transfer the coins between my 10 years old account I didn’t even knew about to my new account.

So basically I have 300 coins on a new account and 300 coins on an old account 🤷‍♂️

I figured out a way of doing it…if you download path of exile 1, go to micro transaction shop, then go to “buy points” you can then buy the next upgrade from what you have (only shows the next one, not all of them). After you buy it, restart the game and do the same again to see the next tier

The more I play this game, the more I start to kind of hate it because the console experience is literally not one ounce better than Poe1. I call absolute and total bullshit on their claims it was made with console in mind, adding twin stick (which is shit btw and does not belong in an arpg) does not make it a console arpg, I hate to say this, but blizzard literally outclasses them by leagues in terms of console support and it's genuinely so disappointing. Navigating the interface is worse, aiming with that twin stick shit is a joke, yes it's beta but this is foundation level shit here, the user interface itself is shit, why do you have HP and mana at the edge of the screen on either or one side when it could be centered in a small bar? Why does console need to have a completely new full screen window pulled up for inventory? D4 doesn't do that shit and functions infinitely better. The more I play the more frustrated I become, every day it's something new. The passives tree, and this isn't exclusively to GGG here, but stop fucking making the cursor snap to things, please, it's not necessary and just makes shit an absolute pain in the ass. Unintuitive ui, awkward gameplay because some things require you to use the sticks to aim, small ass text because of course it is, just... Fuck man.

I'm sure it's probably just me, but I'm finding so much frustration, I hope things greatly improve by launch, I really want to enjoy the game.

I will tell you a major issue I'm having with this actually. Targeting has actually become harder in this game than D4, by a mile, this is because I'm sending skills behind mobs somehow, as well as completely off screen. I'm using a skill called Frostbolt, a ball of ice moves along the ground at a straight line, combined with a skill called Frost nova I think. Using frost nova on the bolt makes the skill hit on the bolt instead of around me, the problem becomes when I shoot more than one bolt, aiming toward it will target the first instead of more recent. Bolts go on literally until they either hit terrain or I explode them with cold snap, so I'll end up using nova on a bolt that's in another damn continent lol. It's a huge issue.

This is of course using twin stick aiming, because if I don't use it, nova just lands on me.

I am really enjoying the monk. Since is my first Poe I would like to ask some info in order to plan the build with a little more knoledge. I would like to use cast on shock comet. I saw that I need around 60 int to use the gem for cast on shock (that lv of gem is around act 3 I see). Is worth to invest on int using the passive skill tree or is something that I have to reach with gear? The Comet iself is a support gem that I can craft and socket into the Cast on shock passive ability?

Yes you can. I did it yesterday. Log in on the website with your PC account. Go to my account > manage account > click connect on the Sony tab and then you simply log into your PSN account.

When that's done and you want to play your PC account on PS5 you first need to make a character, then go to the character selection screen and in the top left you then have the option to switch (sub) accounts. It's pretty damn finnicky but atleast it works

I would say it is okay on PS5 pro. There are sometimes situations with screen tearing but not very often. And the framerate drops to about 55 or something like that when I have the whole screen on fire with mobs to fill the entire screen. It is no problem for me. I am using native resolution + PSSR setting for the game

💡 Dev feedback - controller gameplay: holding / releasing trigger should actually swap to your weapon sets

⚙️ Use example - how it should work mechanically:
•Shield & 1h / wand & focus on first bar, etc (normal)
•Pulling and holding trigger should automatically swap to your second set and the abilities loaded to that bar
•releasing trigger returns you to primary weapon set

👎 As it stands now you have to use your basic attack (if the skill can be used with each set) to switch weapons

Example : shield and 1h mace attacks don’t auto swap to 2h even though it is on skill bar 1. Using a slam uses 1h instead of swapping to 2h even though, unless you swing the general attack.

This would create much smoother flow for weapon swapping in real time - matching the pace of the action combat.

You can use the in game trade website or access the website in your phone
