I'm playing spectral throw and I went for all the rare buffs in the atlas tree. I also use Apex sentinel. I do some times meet a rare that takes a while to kill and if the map has rippy mods I might die a bit but overall it's going fine. Not sure what everyone's crying about.

Yes, HH is used for farming in the Domain of Timeless Conflict, but the changes to the mods made it impossible (or at least very bad) to do the same farming with HH.

Ad part of the nerfs to Archnem mods was to reduce the amount of mods the mobs now have and GGG specifically said that this will be a nerf to HH, but they might do something about the nerf.

This league you might be able to push 24 even if you hadn't hit it before, mostly it takes time grinding or maybe willing to throw some ex around to get carried.

Apex sentinels are kinda shit from what I've seen. They roll "bonus sentinel power" far too often. Which is a completely dead affix 3 days after league start. I picked up, id'ed and combined many of them and they're not very appealing. 300-500 quant and rarity, that's about it. Opulent rare mob has 20 000 quant and it's still bad.

stalker and pandem tho, that's very good. Empower 200-300 mobs, 3-5% of them get currency, essence, expedition, heist etc- you can easily walk with tons of loot from a map

They can't. The process picks a base, and if the mod is a non-influenced base, influenced mods can't be added to it. If the influenced base is picked, the other mods could be moved to it though

Selecting Standard Boss, Shaper / Guardian, or Sirus (under Config: Enemy Stats: Is the Enemy a Boss?) implies the calculations are against a Unique mob
Shaper/Guardian or Sirus implies Pinnacle Atlas Boss
So those eldritch modifiers will work if you make that selection

I don't think POB can distinguish between normal/magic/rare, if there are any modifiers that only apply in those circumstances (I forget if there are)

What the people told you is actually not true at all lol. It says "less common reward TYPES" not "less common rewards" or "more valuable rewards". It increases the chance for league rewards (blight, heist, delirium etc.) those are considered not generic and less common TYPES.

I used it for most of Sentinel, then respecced it and in my opinion the point is not worth the 2 power because:

1. Most of those less common reward types are not actually better than essence/currency reward.
2. It goes against each other with the "Rewards have increased chance to be Sentinel reward" which I think is actually the best reward because of constant dropping of recombinators.
3. It gets flat cut by mods like "% chance to have currency reward" on Sentinels (which are superiorly good)

Depends. If you like endgame bossing, i heard the new Uber Bosses are quite nice (but drop terrible loot). for mapping youll have archnemesis rares but without the loot. and as for the league mechanic...they took most of the loot from normal mobs and put it behind a button you can hit 2-3 times a map. the recombinators are insane (look at the item above), so if you want to craft your gear, thats your league. for me personally.... i find sentinels to be super boring and builds to be very restricting (determination, grace, defiance banner and often purity of elements on every character). if you wanna go for challenges, they are the most tedious, grindy, and luck based GGG have ever done. ive stopped playing the league (did 38 challenges last league) bc its no fun. just my opinion. other people are having a blast.

Personally I disagree, we have a plethora of ways to get league content on on every single map you run, to the point that if just killing mobs was a reasonable way to make money, it'd make no sense.
Just atlas blocking alone can get you a 1/3 chance of getting one of your preferred mechanics to show up, and it's not like you are starved for choice for types of content to run in that sense either. I don't see the problem with normal mobs being mostly there to interact with other mechanics.
Normal mobs also do have access to some decent drops it's just they are rarer.

I would be okay with them being sold for 20 or 30 ex but 50 is way too much. I agree that the drop rate needed to be adjusted, but it being like 5% would have been enough to keep the supply high enough to keep the price from skyrocketing and the items being targeted by price fixers. Not everybody has twelve hours every day to play the game or is a literal god at crafting who knows how to make that kind of money with lower time investment. I am okay with luxury items, but MB and old HH are much more powerful than these amulets will ever be. These are not items less than 1% of players who make it into endgame should have access to. These kind of changes is what encourages RMT and are especially stupid considering how playing anything else than meta is trash this league since meta every meta build needs these amulets.

Has any one else tried to go heavy on Apex/Metamorph? It sounded great on paper, Metamorphs can have 100-250% MORE quantity and rarity. Apex's can give 300-500% increased quantity and rarity. Plus between the two you can hit very high, even 100% depending on the metamorph, chance for double rewards. Then I spent literally 11 minutes killing this metamorph that dropped nothing but chaff like 3 fusings and a few chromatics etc. and I immediately regretted my choices. Might've just been bad luck but wondering if anyone else has tried going for this and maybe had more luck?

Quantity maps with altars for Expedition farming, with last boss rush viable. I feel like Beach mob density and thus altar spawns is low, strand also, same goes for city square.

By accident I just tried Barrows, also a natural t15 for maybe easier map sustain? It seems like a high density map and boss is in a room rather easy to find in the map center. Not sure if Dunes is same density of mobs though, and that map is a bit more attractive.

Cosmic Apex is the uniques that target specific bosses, so either drops or random combine chance

I think bypassing apex is fine to get better rewards from the other like 200+ mobs you can empower (with double pandemonium)

End up getting like a dozen guaranteed loot types + the normal iiq from empowerment so I vastly prefer a more focused Blue/Red tree over APex

I think there's something bugged with blight and getting multiple per map, I did several dozen maps with blight scarabs and never got more than one, but then as soon as I got the "no chance for blights" node I got two

like...the challenges dont make sense really -> they gave us agency over what content to run, but theres challenges where you need to farm content that you might banned and on top of that have some RNG element where it has to cross with another league mechanic. then theres conditional boss challenges, that are pretty much skipped by having oneshot-mega-dps characters, and some are way easier with a minion or totem build, like the meteor one from exarch. just saying i think those challenges are in a bad vein and hope this wont continue.

thats just my opinion, you might disagree and GGG wont give a damn, but i hope someday there will be a worthy contender for best ARPG, so they finally get some competition
