Isn't this kind of a a terrible loot explosion and gold quantity for what I had on the map in terms of quant/rarity/currency/scarab increase?

for example ores, if you encounter verisium ore then tell your friend to come and get it he won't get it, he needed to be in the map before it was "seen"

Okay so giving them equipment in general is pretty easy. Numbers on the attribute requirements don't matter (attribute type does matter, more on that in a moment). I'm not sure how level requirement works, since I didn't really bother giving my mercs equipment until I had already gotten to the highest levels of mercs. For armor (helm, gloves, boots, body), the attribute typing works like this:

• If a merc is a single-stat merc (look in the info at the top of the graphic, it'll be obvious) then the merc can only use gear that has that stat on it. For example, a STR merc can use gear that's pure STR, STR/DEX, or STR/INT
• If a merc is a two-stat merc, it can use any gear that does not require the missing stat. For example, a DEX/INT merc can use anything that does not require STR
• I believe a merc that uses all 3 stats can use any type of gear, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong 🙂
• AFAIK mercs cannot use gear that provides Ward, regardless of their typing

Jewelry (Amulet, Rings, Belt) can be used by anyone, though I assume if the piece requires a stat then it follows the same rule as the armor. Weapons, each merc has specific types of weapons they'll use - it's listed on the Wiki - but in a very generic sense, the easy approach is to stick with whatever weapon type they were using when you hired them

In terms of physically giving them the gear, it's that little icon above your skill bar, after you've hired the merc. You just equip the gear to the merc in that pop-up window, similarly to how you equip to yourself

On the topic of the good gear, that's more subjective. Mercs have a stats page after you've hired them (different tab on the same window as before), and if the stat shows up on the list then it's one they should be able to use. IIR, elemental resistance, armor/evasion/energy shield, etc. They can use Culling Strike, but I believe they cannot use skills that are provided by gear - IE if a ring says "grants level X Zealotry" or w/e they can't actually use that skill. The simple approach is to focus on defensive stats on armor/jewelry and relevant increased damage on weapons. The more familiar you are with it, the more you can min-max it for higher effectiveness

Honestly a lot of it depends on what you enjoy. Anything CAN make a profit, its just a question of how much

Something to consider as an easy guaranteed profit while you're figuring things out - stacked decks. Put a map and as many "Divination Scarab of the Cloister" in the device, you'll probably get between 10 and 30 decks a map. It's ROUGHLH 70 stacked deck to a divine orb (as of the last time I looked), so you make a divine every few maps on average. Its not much, but its a steady profit while you look at more long-term option

this merc is insane on life regeneration on Chief RF , discovered a massive potential of the merc itself, playd around with some item - result life scale regen crazy, potential to be immortal in tier 16 (blastic, close combat maps / not tested on dunes yet) i runned 25 maps 8mod regex with this merc and never died once, taking in consideration i have a cheap build relativly 20divs. This merc is top go to go for Chief RF / ( shield block )

Im using it to autofarm t1-6 memory fishing with cheap ass scarab formula for loot explosions while collecting beats for infinite einhar missions and chisels

I was doing nameless altar fishing too but rinhar adds more rare and unique mobs

haven't done any real testing about any of this tbh. maybe that mod works in a special way, no idea honestly.

This server doesn't do price-checks, but sure, it's probably worth something. Duration's a damage stat for a fair number of things (spark, penance brand, trauma anything, toxic rain, etc.)

To get a lot of lifeforce you will be doing the highest map tier possible, which you can always enable the altars on.
You want that node for more altars, because you are looking for the %inc quantity altars, since it affects lifeforce drop amount
