Phys-> Cold build so damage range is quite flat. Massive life drain from reap, so I think the seed is just comfier. IIRC Perq is only a couple % more damage for my setup.

as you can just kill the bonus bosses and keep main boss alive to be able to run it over and over again

Ritual is more for jackpot fishing - like mirror shards (but you don't need them in ssf), fancy corrupts and synths, corpses if you are into that, audiences with the King (nameless rituals not ritual in general)

And it's not really reliable for anything

In ssf you Will want to Focus early on mechanics that let you obtain/craft passable gear for 4 voids and hitting t17

T17 enables you to get non-trivial quantity of scarbs

And then you can farm other content

Issue is that a chill inflicted by poison isn't a chill inflicted by a hit, which Ahuana (and Call of the Void) requires.

Icefang can apply chill-also-does-this stats that don't require a Hit just fine, like Bonechill.

It's just how the game functions: new mechanics need to be powerful (even before people acquire the knowledge to optimize them), and that power needs to be removed so the next league can offer that power instead.
