As for PoE1, they only really do breaking changes in the big updates, the last of which was many months ago at this point, so what do you mean. And even then, that's only somewhat of an issue if you're in Standard.

None unless you are experienced. The 5 that will wall an inexperienced ssf player are 3 Ubers, 6 rare crafting currencies, 250 item quant t17s, using one of each rune in an enchant, and the aforementioned 3 league bosses.

Disenchanting is a part of kingsmarch. You put in items and after a while they turn into dust. The ammount you get depends on the items and the upgrades you have for disenchanting. Dust is used for increasing shipment value and recombinating

Mageblood is not really something you farm because it's extremely rare and you need a specific setup to even have a decent chance of it dropping.
Instead you farm currency and then buy it with said currency

Kitava's thirst is relatively common, but given how cheap it is you might as well buy it if it doesn't randomly drop

Atziri's amulet is a T1 or T2 unique I think? So it's decently rare, might as well just buy it too

you only have to wait like .2 seconds with automate/detonate mines 2 link. It's much harder to scale self cast, can be done - way more expensive though

yea but im just doing the breach strat and its the fastest (solo so far), I already got a 30+mil dps lol and 3 voids just figured id get all passive points and then get the last one

You can just make an atlas breach especially with scarabs you can get level 100 really fast

yeah i think they get convereted into 1 of the 3 normal ascendanicces depending on which they were. You probably should just do the first lab trial either way to pick the ascendancy you want

The problem is, if all your gear is build around the new ascendancies...your character will be useless after the change, you should need to collect your gear all over again

It could only be useful if your character goes to standard, there you can exchange gear with other characters

i already have characters in settlers, but you should be able to do level 33 lab with a tabula rasa and whatever you have lying if you have a level 80+ character migrating in

this is not poe2 where you need the high level trial to get all your ascendancy points

if you already have done uber lab you can just do normal lab, then use 5 orbs of regret for each ascendancy point to remove all those points. Then click the wall and a different ascendancy

He's not wrong, but not 100% right. Out of the 10 main items my build has, only one will have a 'dead' mod. Everything else works in settlers with normal ascendencies. However, some builds are way to specific and will have a lot of dead mods, or even items that can't be used with the old ascendencies

For example: the spark build with the fisherman setup. That doesn't exist in settlers so the build itself will be useless. You might have some items that can be used or even sold, but not all

just a question about picking i think i will turn the ranger into a tornado shot mapper, i hear they are still good at mapping and the shadow into a lightning striker i hear those guys are near immortal so doing tier 17's should be managable with him

LS is good and solid. I would do a stacker with it if you have enough currency or plan to invest more

Well, the build I'm running is fundamentally dead without the Ascendancy, so I'll have to make a new build from scratch, hopefully being able to recycle some equipment, but maybe not. This build called for very specific gear that is hard to make sense of on anything else

And absolutely not sensible all together

Like at minimum I'll probably be looking at replacing half the gear to make something functional

Which is a consequence of the choice to make something I wouldn't be able to do without the alternative ascendancies
