PoE1 is GGGs flagship product right now and it’s carrying 10+ years of branding. Poe2 as they’ve repeatedly said is an experimental endeavor with many new and incomplete systems.

While it definitely brought in new blood and exposure, a lot of people are quickly getting bored of the state of the game. And it’s going to take a long time in beta for it to truly shine

the town probably won't go core (become a part of standard/the base game) but the gold respec and faustus are probably here to stay

and in the meantime you can enjoy all the stuff the town offers, its just a league mechanic, every new league introduce a new mechanic 4fun

Question about shipments - say there's a port that has 0/5000 wheat with +90% bonus. If i send 100k wheat there, with 100k dust, only 5k of that wheat will get +90% bonus, and the rest will be as if i jsut sent it randomly to a port right? So these bonuses are only really valuable if they are a large amount (i.e. "150k wheat +90%") where you can fill your entire desired shipment value with just that bonus?

they barely even started working in the new PoE1 league, so assuming that they release the PoE1 devs from their basement as soon as the patch for 2 drops, then we'll be looking at 2~3 months after patch 0.2.0 for 2

but it's way more likely that it goes along the lines of "they release the patch for PoE2, druid transformations are buggy, huntress is too OP, endgame still isn't good enough because 2 months won't fix everything" -> PoE1 devs keep working on 2 -> it'l take even more than 3 months between 0.2 and 3.26

what is the logic in asking players who've played a game they find fun and have played it for years "why do you still play it" after a sequel that isn't complete, isn't polished, won't be finished for at least a year if not more judging by its current state, is currently found by lots of people to be boring, and is threatening to impact the game the players already like, comes out?

poe1 is more feature complete, gets new content on a regular basis (until now), has a better gem and support gem system that doesn't punish trying out new combinations and doesn't force the same combo of skills on every build, has better crafting that does not actually require a phd to learn despite what redditors may think, has more and better league mechanics, has a passive tree that doesn't hurt to path on, the maps aren't boring to run since i can choose what i want to run and when i want to run it and how i want to run it, im not forced to run bad maps on the atlas when i dont want to, i actually get rewarded for the juice i put into it, powerscaling ceiling is higher

and mostly important im not playing a game that wants to be ruthless 2.0 but has to make concessions to convince the playerbase its worth playing because the developers think their "vision" is infallible despite players proving them time and time again they have no idea whether their ideas are good or bad half the time

I think I'm getting weird crashes specifically in necro settlers, so I think I'm going to migrate my ssf to regular settlers. Problem is you can't migrate to standard yet, and you can't go from necro settlers ssf to settlers ssf. Is deleting all my settlers characters the only way to keep my ssf progress?
