Just put the highest tier crops (zanth) in the middle pair and one of each of the other crops around. If you want to boost production of some other crop than zanth, switch one of the plots in the middle pair into your chosen crop.

Reason for this is that zanth is the most valuable crop so that's what you want two plots of normally, and the plots in the middle pair get 15% adjacency bonuses, while the plots at the end pairs only get 10%.

I believe, if I'm doing the math right, that this is slightly inaccurate. Assuming that all of the farmers are the same rank, the difference in value/hour produced for each crop is almost negligible. The middle two crops should be whatever quota you're trying to fill, rather than prioritizing BZ because it's the highest per-unit value

also if youre still upgrading your town, i would recommend getting your miners to max level first, since it gives you the effect of getting gold for every material ore you find on your maps so it speeds up gold gain

Essentially, yes. Higher tier maps give more gold, but all maps give some gold. Run what you can, don't be afraid to skip adding it to your town's stash while you stockpile if you're trying to upgrade something. Most of the workers will run out of work and the upkeep cost is paused, but the farmers will passively drain your treasury until it's empty. They can't take out of your 'personal' gold though

With the 7/7 strat the dust is about 1.5% of the total value of the shipment, I dunno if that'd have enough of an impact to be worth doing. Not that 7 dust is a huge impact on a 50 mil shipment either, but if you're saving 21 dust every 30ish minutes, you're saving about 40 dust an hour... probably not making a difference either way, I guess

As long as gold isn't too mcuh of a problem, you can also buy amulets (or rings) in bulk from Faustus. If you're level 90 they should be ilvl 84s I think. Bump any magic ones to rare, throw 'em all in for disenchanting and you're breaking down two full inventories at a time. Might be more consistent, since you can always pick up unique jewelry as you go to add in as well

No, it doubles the value but not the product. If your port quota is asking for 2,000 Crimson Iron, you'll need to send 2,000 Crimson Iron Ore, or you can divide it by 5 and send that amount (in this case 400) Crimson Iron Bars. You don't need to send them all in one shipment, and you can mix between the two - for example, sending 1,000 CI Ore and 200 CI Bars.

Dust will increase the rewards you get from the shipment, and the more dust you send the more impact it'll have. That impact will peak at a 1:1 ratio of dust to regular value. If CI Ore is valued at 5 per unit (I don't know the actual number) and you send 2,000 of it, then you have 10,000 value of CI Ore. In that example, the dust will have a value of 1 per unit of dust, up to a cap of 10,000 units of dust. Additional dust beyond that 10,000 will start to fall off in value, at a rate that I don't have memorized.

Hello, im wondering and need answer (also my first league, so idk how things work exactly). If im sending ships and im doing it just bcs of currency like divines...does sometime those bonuses like if u have one port orichalcum +40%, petrified amber +90%, Wheat 100% etc, does it stop sometimes or its just still changing? And does the different crops influence the drop? cuz im thinking about letting farmers farm just ourgourd or blue zanthium and sending just tons of that

So there's a few things to talk about here - bear with me if I get a little bit ramble-y 😄

Sending ships gives two (three) categories of results. Crops will give currency, and it doesn't seem to matter which port or which crop - it's all just a generic "crops = currency items" situation. The ores and bars give different rewards based on which port you send them to - generally different types of equipment items, but not always. Verisium, for example, will give you scarabs if you send it to Riben Fell (the closest port to Kingsmarch) and I believe gives Stacked Decks if you send it to the next-closest port. Additionally, the ports fall under two different factions - the Kalguuran and the Karui (may be spelled wrong). Kalguuran ports give runes, which are an item used for crafting. Karui ports give tattoos, which can be used in your passive skills tree.

The bonuses you mentioned are port quotas, and they'll change whenever you finish one. If a port wants 40,000 Orichalcum and 55,000 Wheat, you'll get a bonus for sending those products. I'm unsure if it's more items or rarer items, but it's a good thing either way. You'll get that bonus for however much the quota is, but not for anything after that. Sending 60k when it's asking for 55k will not give the bonus on the last 5k. Additionally, keep in mind that bars count for 5 per unit, while ore counts for 1 per unit. Once you've sent enough to fill the whole quota, you'll get a bonus unique item in the final shipment, and the quota will change. You can split the shipment into multiple loads if you're trying to manage the risk.

Lastly, while it's not inherently wrong to set all your farms to one product if that's what you want to do, it'll get you less value overall compared to farming all 5 crops at the same time. Assuming all of your farmers are the same level, the difference in value per hour on each crop is almost negligible. Higher valued crops make fewer units per hour, basically.

It can get a bit more complex if you really want, but that's the basics. LMK if you have questions!

Uberstrict still shows full stacks of most bubblegum currency. You can disable it pretty easily.

There should be a section under currency where it has a rule for show X currency if stack is Full. And you just change it from Show to Hide.

which crop you double doesn't matter since they'll produce the same value/h. eg. Wheat is worth 12 value while blue zanthium is worth 24. At all lvl10 farmers all that matters is to have 5 different crops + one doubled and it will produce a little over 252k/h regardless of which crop is where and which crop is doubled.

as for if wheat gives worse or better currency/rune/tattoo rewards than blue zanthium 🤷 not sure if anyone has tested that.

if you send an ore or crop it has a specific value for the port, if a port has a quota they basically pay more for your stuff so instead of 100% you get 220 or 190% until the quota is met, for anything over it you get the normal value

there is no card and its pretty rare. sadly there is no way to target farm it. you have to run strategies that drop alot of uniques. ask in global chat 773 (ssf chat) about unique farm strategies

to give you an idea about the rarity. you need about 900 ancient orbs on average to get it

theretically, if you farm the card "the body" which grants a unique body armour and use the card on a lv50 character, then you get a lv50 unique body armour. this one would "only" need about 400 ancient orbs, because the low item level removes alot of unique chests from the pool

So relying on what has worked in the past and reshaping it into something new but familiar is a good move

I tried out this new league with the settlers, but to be completely honest, it bored me ... it made me think "if I had wanted to play farmville, I'd have played farmville" ... there are some good ideas in it, but I am not impressed with the implementation because it just seems to take way too much time for no great value over the way things already worked ... which is not to say to throw it all away, but I do think it needs a serious redesign, because if the game became like that as standard, I would honestly stop playing

you have to set it up and provide upkeep, which you get through playing

if you're constantly running mappers and sending small ships or 50m ships when available you can easily make a lot of currency over time

i think the problem in terms of interest is that the big payouts dont happen often since they're timegated

whether or not thats a positive or negative thing for the game as a whole is a different question

i know its really good for ssf getting currency passively as long as you put in the gold (especially since there really isnt another use for it)

but for trade its probably not something people who do high end strats would probably invest in
