RF Chieftain is easy to gear, easy to scale into maps, doesn't require advanced weapon crafting knowledge in order to scale well, and has an extremely detailed guide to follow. Considering how many unknowns there are, and how many builds I think are going to explode end of week 1 in popularity as someone goes "this interaction is even better than anyone thought", I'm not going into this league with the mindset I'm running 1 build all the way to ubers, no matter what my first build is, I'm going to just run it for currency early and then make a second character to go deep

I would say from playtesting earlier this week Archmage Icenova is cool, but you probably want to have some very good confidence in your currency/gear crafting abilities early in the league cause its going to feel surprisingly squishy trying to rush maps unless you can leapfrog the quality of the gear yourself or keeping paying for better until all its triggers and skills line up

red/green colorblindness means (for most) that you struggle to differentiate red and green, as well as colors that are differentiated by red (blue/purple, yellow/orange, green/brown). RF looks red to me because it's pretty solidly red, but I'm also preconditioned to see it because I know fire is red. It's hard to explain and not very consistent (because if it were, you could work around it more easily and it'd be a non-issue)

Storm Burst totem hierophant is one of my top league starters. It's like 65/35 for bossing/clearing power. But mostly because its bossing is very smooth for a league starter
