yes
i might just go cheftain this league wow thanks
remember that you have to manually click warcries now
ay wtf
anyone know how good lightning strike might be for ubers?
is divine blessing just completly gone?
yes
Do we have any idea when the new gems will be added to PoB?
once the community voulunteers add it
Ggg also need to announce them
Ggg needs to announce a lot of things. I'm sitting here with my thumb in my butt waiting for things to be announced so I know what I'm working with. Main things are enchants and tinctures
on the other end of the spectrum they could not tell, and let you discover ingame
since it requires gold to trade currencies on the exchange, I assume city builder mechanics will be permanent
I would expect them to decide based on how the league goes
They could easily implement gold drops and the currency exchange without any of the rest of it, or decide that they aren't happy with it and remove it completely.
you can invite faustus to your hideout, so once that's done you can ignore the city building entirely
which ascendancy is best for boneshatter?
you think thats gonna be the case for 3.25?
Maybe? I don't hear a lot of people talking about it. It go a little bit of a damage boost but a big speed reduction so people aren't very hyped about it compared to all the other new melee options
what are the other melee options that are people talking about?
i wanted to play a melee skill, most a mapper, for years and i feel like its time to pull the trigger. question is which one lol
im the same fam
but i did play boneshatter alot
im looking into it or maybe even something else
we will see
we should wait a couple days so people make some builds about them its still early
lacertate bleed gladiator looks fun
There is like 15 option if not more
Sunder , earthquake , frost blade , cleave , dual strike , flicker strike just to name few
wow you just made
a giga choices for me
sunder earthquake cleave dualstrike
fok
Im going sunder or frost blade probably
Lot of skill will fit the same build too or almost the same so it will be easier to test skill that fit you more
Nobodies builds matter until enchants and tinctures are released imo
I'm going blade trap of greatswords:D
If hits against an enemy have added damage and I hit them with my greatswords, does the fire damage count as being from that sword?
E.g if I hit with rakiatas will the fire be inverted if the only source of fire is a "add fire damage" debuff on the enemy
it should get inverted i think
is there a place regrouping all the mods leaked from the new league ?
from the rune guy
I wish bro
The 3 that are actually impractical that were shown are
Trigger fire spell on hit. 0.25 sec cool down.
Weapon deal no phys but has 100% increased elemental damage.
I forget the last one
None of the new configs work, it's just the updated tree for now
do we know numbers on puncture of shanking
bro half these ascendancy changes are just ruthless passives
Can i get a reminder for the release date of the new league?
!leagues
Temporary leagues typically last 3 months, contain a unique new mechanic and do not allow players access to their existing characters and items. Most players play the temporary leagues.
Standard is the permanent league and has been running since Path of Exile's launch. There are many more items in the economy, deflating their value. The population is lower than the temporary leagues. If you can only play a small amount of time per week and want to go very far in the game, this can be a good game mode.
If you are a new player, it is strongly recommended to play in the current temporary league.
For details on what happens when a temporary league ends, see https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2091028
The Settlers league starts:

5! 4! 3! 2! 1! GOGOGO
Oh shit i'm not ready
Nobody ever is 🙂
found it
only those that are in the video tho
no info on the 90 others
Just catching up on the new league, sounds like an expansion to POE to me at this point .... great to see
Please explain? The translation is a bit weird in this one, me and my friend group can't get in a consensus.
shields come with a block value, this would ignore it
dual wielding comes with inherent bonuses that would be doubled
which sure doesnt make sense, maybe its not meant to be one annoint?
Oh, so the first line is a straight up negative for Shield users... Got it!
no matter your shield's block percent on it, it gets set to 50%
weird choice, but I guess it's worthy for the Lucky node after.
well usually the block chance is lower than 50% id say, i'd have to check some shields
Some shields give negative block so it's pretty effective for those
Oh, I got it wrong then. It goes to 50%? Ohh right
understood
Kinda
Strong...
Dual wield is probably gonna be way stronger with 40% inherent and 20% attack speed since there are enough block nodes to cap it even with versatile, but Surrender is gonna be pretty sought after as well
Depending on how well crushing fist scales with level
Every vid makes this more exciting
Also block cap is like what, 75 soft cap 90 soft cap? 50% is kinda huge regardless for this
heard u will be able to sell ur cs weapon skins in poe market.
have they said if kingsmarch is a shared instance?
How could it be? There would be different levels of upgrade applied around the town for different people
Well then i suppose it could be shared, i don't believe it's been stated either way. I just don't understand how or why they would want it to be.
I'm mostly worried about my game crashing as often as it does in rogue harbor with other player's MTX
Yes more currency info 🙂
Wonder if the gold will be tied to the currency value i.e trading for a div is like 15k vs 10 c which is like 300
price fixing shall be dead on currencies yes !
im guessing it'll be balanced around market quantity
where chaos is like the base line or something
So like a fluctuating gold cost ?
Is a mystery \o/
I like the attempt atleast lets see if someone is clever enough to ruin it
I reckon just based on drop rarity is more likely. Divine costs more than chaos, which costs more than alteration.
The orb to fusing trade they showed was 1c for 5fuse coating 200gold, and 500c to 1000 fuse being 112000
So that scales pretty linearly on the chaos cost
what's the drop rate of different essences? or other tradeable things?
i see where you're coming from, it just seems a bit weird
but yeah ig relative quantity is also fucked, cause it doesn't account for how much people consume each item
You just gotta love being able to put something up the n sleep and have it sold /traded
Its gonna be great
Gear wont work but eh cant have it all
Good point, not sure how it'll come down to the specifics. I just reckon it's more likely that ggg will set a cost based on the factors they can already control, rather than tying it to market fluctuations in some way
i think it'll be effectively instant for most items for the first month
Depends on the ratio you put it at id say
But I have a feeling we will keep undercutting eachother
yeah probably, and im guessing gold is never going to be a prohibitive factor either
i feel like it'll be that if you map enough and aren't a profit crafter, you'll always be able to afford it
But no price fixing so
Well you need gold for a lot though
You got a gamble shop, recombinators and respec
Prob missing something else besides the ah cost
o right city building and auto mapping
im excited for gamble shop, hopefully i get luckyish during league start and get a few upgrades
if it's complete ass ill be sad
Gamba \o/
Is uniques in the gamba shop 🙂
prob not
Would take away from the other gamba shop in expedition
why? different currencies, different rescources
Who is the gamba vendor and why is it not Gwennen?
Faustus will have some Black Market items for gold
Gwennen is for law-abiding gambling only
since the exchange fills over time i wonder if they have a round robin system, where they slowly drip feed everyone who's queued up a little at a time so noone can just grab the entire market of a resource at once
Could be intresting leon
Id assume so ?
Or maybe like one transaction then your others take a few mins to fill
first come first serve maybe
You think there will be a Queue to get in?
not a queue but in the video they just posted, its another time gated thing where it slowly fills up
Do I just sit in menu and wait for it to drop?
like you say i want 100, every x amount of time you get x
as all things in this league, finished with league stuff, back to maps or delve or heist or whatever
when something is done in cow girl, it will notify you anyway, be it currency trade or shipping
cow girl?
name of the league
kalguur = cow girl
Does this mean that trading lower value currency like alteration : chaos is more expensive in terms of gold vs say vaal : chaos?
i don't think it mentioned what sets the gold price so
might be static so kinda
just that its balanced around mid-game
might be static, doesn't matter what currency you trade
This might affect the exchange rate of currencies
I suspect it's not per currency unit, but per transaction
meaning you buy 10c or 1000c in 1 transaction same price
ah
Nope it's scaled to amount of units
yeah no they showed it scaled to unit
When the quantity is bigger the price of gold will be higher
But it will technically not be a big deal in endgame so long as you're not a hideout warrior
that sucks, what about people buying 5000 alt orbs?
Well from what we saw it was like what 30 alt trade for 1000 gold and a single pack in an early map dropped like roughly ~150 or something idk someone do the math how long thatd take to farm XD
its prob like 2 maps for one trade
so it's safe to assume that while gold cost scales with quantity, it also scales with the type of currency?
not necessarily I think
I wouldn't bother reading anything into gold numbers you've seen, they were not final
ok, so from the video's we saw. there is varience (unless if the content reveal one had different gold cost for the exchange)
5 fusings to 1 chaos was 200 in content reveal. 15 alterations to 1 chaos was 575 and 30 was 1050 which equals to about 175 for 5 in the exchange introduction video
for all we know it might cost more gold the more popular it is
Id like it to scale imo
linearly scaled with quantity yeah
I personally want a free market DECENTRALIZE THE GOVERNMENT
back to the trade discords with you
Okay yes that's true jk
Hey guys haven't played for many leagues, scourge was probably my last league, where would be a good place to catch up on all the league mechanics and changes since then
that also means NO REPLY
anyway its just currencies, still have to regular trade for equipment
TO HELL WITH THESE TAXES!
so I believe awakened poe won't show currency price anymore, only item price
Have they talked about how much gold will be needed for repecs at early levels? I ask as I have a few friends who are very keen on checking out PoE if the cost to respec is reasonable.
nopers but I imagine it will be reasonable at some point
scale with your level
easier than getting your hand on regret orb for sure
better then regrets anyway but they still exist
since the market is priced around mid-game i imagine the respeccing is the same, so as long as they can get to around act 7-8 farming gold for respeccing wouldn't be too hard
Cheers! I shall pass on the news.
though its level based
maybe past level 70 will be more expensive than regret, but before that should be dirt cheap
higher level more expensive respeccing
we just don't know how much is low level respeccing
I hope less than 100g per
the whole purpose of gold respec is to have it easier respec early game, otherwise the system is pointless
I said full though thats not something that is ever easy
You def will be able to move like 5-6 pts pretty fast
not so sure about 30 though
might be mistaking the area but what looked like the den or the cave before the vaal temple dropped about 50-70 from a pack of enemies,
Well you can look up the base to find the item level
arcane vestment is the newer one
So
its maps
they must have had some custom settings then cause no way they only drop like 150 from a pack in maps
from datamine
They can still change the gold value its not final
Its prob not that low your right
imagine getting hyped because the showcase char got 5mil gold, but when you reach t16 maps all you have is 50k gold lol
act 1 end with 20 gold
I wonder, what are the decent early league endgame content for quick currency kickstart this league? blight? expedition? ulti?
mappers eating happy this league. blight i think won't be that great unless if individual blight mobs can drop gold
Why wouldn't they
I think blight will give gold yep
Individual blight mobs drop regular loot
So there's no real reason to not expect them to drop gold as well
i mean would be one of the best then cause of how dense the packs can be
sanctum not dropping gold is expected though
Gold doesn't really seem like something you need to actively try to farm
but blight can still be pretty slow to start idk how fast it is compared to just blasting a regular map
blight can be towers only dont even need a build but you might wanna be semi tanky
i'm horrible at making my own builds so i generally go for an atlass that focuses more on the towers
good thing about blight is you only need 2 anointed rings with no gears
but blight this league is about farming blight maps though, no more farming oil coz the +1 oil tier is gone
are maps bulk sellable by currency exchange?
dont think so ?
No
They are not currency
And they have variables
Though I think most or all map fragments will be
sad af, will still need to sell blight maps thru certain discord
Did we get clarification on if gold is character or account bound?
It's gotta be league-bound, otherwise you'd start levelling your second character and suddenly be unable to trade currency
Or upgrade/run anything in Kingsmarch
You upgrade things with league materials, not gold, and you pay the workers from a pool you throw gold into, not from gold on you
Good point, i forgot about the treasury. Can you take gold back from that?
I'm assuming this is bismuth, but I could be wrong though
since, this is the icon they use for gold
wait so they buffed LA and elemental hit on the spectrum in next league?
I tought they are going to nerf bow lol
sure , but the nerf in deadeye seems a lot less important
then the dmg buff to the skills I mentioned above
especially elemental hit of the spectrum
yeah, but really people still want to play the same build they did for the past 100 leagues? why not try something new and proven
true , I got bored af of LA
but if its still going to be the best mapper will feel like I miss out
the ol' burden of optimal play
how rare is iron fortress? i probably won't go it for league start, but i've been considering the static strike shockwave
indeed
It's not super rare, but that's the Str stacker chest yeah?
yeah
You probably shouldn't expect it Day 1, but Week 1 shouldn't be too unreasonable
patch notes has no changes so even stronger cause quality changes means even more armor
I mean the armor isn't particularly why you are there
i know but its still nice
I mean I might be doing some jank with Shaper's Touch Energy Blade, but idk yet
str stacker is dead didn't they say
both ziz and fubgun said so when reviewing the patch note
That is perfect for me
well, they're not melee dudes, prolly need to wait for someone like cArn, no?
I'm assuming runesmithing is not possible on unique items but has this been confirmed?
Thank you, forgot they like to do timers
How much of a buff is the quality rework?
About 20%
Why did they say str stacking is dead?
i think part of it is the change to battlemage's cry. i'm not very familiar with melee builds let alone strength stackers, but i think alot relied on the keystone of turning phys into spell damage then battlemage's to turn it back into phys damage to get around some unique item limitations
dude
is that a tribute to shitstain steve
no fucking way
when do log-in queues usually start for league start?
i believe about 2 hours before
The earliest is about 2 hours before the launch, if the patch was deployed quickly
Sometimes closer to 1 hour if they have trouble
aite bet
😎
you can get the update prior to that tho if im correct right
cause they release the patch a day or so before?
When does it start?
There's a torrent with the majority of the files for the standalone launcher available about 24hrs before launch. Steam patching happens about 3 hours before, which is also when you can apply the torrented gppk file
You can watch the countdown at pathofexile.com
You guys so impatient, me be like logging in 6h after league start
who isn't? this league is gonna be nuts i can smell it
thing is i was gonna play sanctum but then they release a banger league mechanic so now i have to delay sanctum even more
i never tried it
For https://poedb.tw/th/Rune, was "projectiles return to you" data mined, or was it in the content reveal somewhere?
PoEDB provides things come out each league, as well as items, uniques, skills and passives. Path of Exile Wiki editing functions.
pretty sure it was in the reveal
Nimis price dropping from 120 div to 120c
prolly yea
btw are there any pob's going around yet or are they waiting for the gems?
i dont see it in the reveal https://youtu.be/QFVLcNTXtxM?t=729
In Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur, help Kalguuran pioneers to build the town of Kingsmarch and establish trade between Wraeclast and their homeland.
Our July expansion contains the Settlers challenge league, Currency Item Exchange, the Warden ascendancy, reworked Gladiator ascendancy and a massive melee balance overhaul!
Find out more at w...
weird
i didn't read nor watch it on the reveal but i saw tripolar bear's summery of the reveal
hmm okay, it might've been hinted at somewhere else
good im not high
thank you, so uniques are officially unusable this league from the looks of it. These enchants are way too strong
are you sure i cant find it
At 1:38
It's likely to only be craftable onto one weapon type, and i kind of doubt it's something you'd normally cast with
Otherwise they'd just be deleting nimis from the game
would it be too op on wands?
bow gameplay zzz
i assumed they would because of wand attack buffs
We'll just have to wait and see
It's going to be something dumb like 2h maces, i bet
isnt that pretty much just molten strike then
anyway prob gonna be pretty rare/hard to get hte runes
it'll be aids if it's giga expensive
how is blight looking for early currency in 3.25? anyone planning on doing it?
I'm thinking it looks like a good gold source, so it's on my list
Blight is good currency in my experience, lots of bubble gum and bases
whats the most safe slam build for this league after patch notes?
i want to slam something
Leap slam
Something like Tectonic slam
how about boneshatter or earthshatter? some say they are better than ever some say they will be slower thus worse..
what i want is basically like earthshatter; one slam and whole screen is gone, but idk what im talking about so..
Do you mind pressing multiple buttons?
Groundslam maybe
is that a singlular skill or do i need to pair it up with another one? when i search for it i see earthshatter and earthslam next to its name
i see spikes coming out of the ground. does ground slam causes it or any other skill?
Groundslam just slams the ground and does damage
Earthshatter slams does damagr and also spikes come out and you have to warcry to explode those spikes which then deals damage.
some visual effect would be nice you know
Tectonic slam it is then
i saw ice crash in some random video. it looked nice

can you link a video that showcases that skill and that skill only? when i search a skill i see other skills are also in play and since ive never saw what that skill looks like i cant tell
I’m at work, no can do
so i slam the ground and fire comes out of it?
Just check on youtube🤔
i saw couple builds that also uses cyclone so wanted to make sure where that fire coming from. it looks super fun though imight commit if i see someone post a league starter for it
Hey all...im. really hyped for the New league...will be my 3rd.... which class/build are you going to play, now mêlee is changed?
Y they no buff bladetrap of greatswords
what league mechanics will be good to focus on my atlas early on?
blight, expe, ulti, up to you
i am going to farm breachstones
Do we know anything about how the harvest quality enchants will work?
Same as before
hey guys what do yall think about party play this league?
the only party play is 5 way hosting
XD
it seems like shit mech this league, coz can't focus on doing chayula
deader than dead
if im the only supply ill be rich
you're just like everyone else, praying your next breach run will be chayula
do keep in mind that grasping mails are going to once again actually be worth vendor recipeing
They removed shrine leveling tho, people will need more 5way and Stones
So chayula will be doubly expensive
unless the kalguur just ship you 3 quads of graspings if you give them exactly 45251 of juice.
chayula will naturally be x2 the price just by being not target farmable
Does anyone have a list of the new anoint - only notables?
haven't gotten even half of them, but PoB has them as disconnected nodes, these are some from the left side
Last one looks kinda juicy
i might have missed some but i believe these are the rest
Any news about gem info?
Not yet. We should see them within 2 days though, based on past leagues.
Blight and simulacrum looks good if you can clear them. Also sanctum was left untouched which means same strong option as previous league. But I am not 100% sure what is going to happen now that we have 1 more map slot
Lets just hope things dont get out of hand like last league, with the strategies and fixes
auto pickup quality of life man
forgot to say, if you opt for blight in the long run, have a nice filter or a beefy computer.
has anyone confirmed if gold is auto picked up?
can't believe i'm asking this in poe of all games. lol.
It was visibly being autocollected in the content reveal
And it fits with recent design decisions, they don't want people to have to click that much or leave their gold behind
sweet.
hopefully the currency trade works out well enough it moves over to poe 2 since gold's there as well.
Good addition , annoying when you wanted to buy 20 chrome or such for a few c and people wouldnt bother responding
Yes, the currency exchange, gold, and respeccing with gold were all PoE2 features that they ported back.
Please give league, I can’t take it anymore!!!
*and
Filter is base requirement, and unless you plan to run blight without tower and enough damage to onetap everything screenwide, blight will turn everything into slideshows unless you have a strong machine
There isn’t enough strong machines out there to survive blight
Though with a bit of experience you can build turrets that hold everything in blightravaged and blighted maps in the first 2 minutes of the map, and then pull up the atlas (to prevent your GPU from melting) and make a sandwhich
@silver kettle can we get gold from encounters not in maps like sims, 5ways, blighted maps, heist, etcetc? Or is gold only confined to maps?
Sanctum and not getting a single drop of gold aka say good bye to league mech
is it confirmed that sanctum will not drop gold?
if yes, yeah sanctum is a lot worse, but still considering how strong it is, you should be able to find a way to manage it
sanctum enemies do drop items, so maybe it will
like ggg said, gold should be a lot more trivial later on
but probably too little.
Sanctum has basically no enemies and even then you avoid killing as much as you can basically. Even if sanctum enemies drop 100 times more gold than map mobs, you'd get way less gold in sanctum than mapping
Are orbs of regret still a thing since you can respec with gold?
Yes, orbs of regret still exist
are we still able to get high amount of defense this league?
when you say defenses you mean armor, eva, and es? or all defensive layers?
you have to kill guards in some rooms, to be fair. but yea, not looking good, it'll just be 8 mod ghosted exiles or something similar
layers of defenses
yes, you can still get good numbers on armour and eva even after the nerf on grace and determination, es also easier, we lost 100% damage taken as, but it is still possible to get a good amount of it.
That said, block is easier too specially on glad and sion, max res also got a easier to get. And endurance charges looks to be the best layer this league.
outside of that there are specific things, like reductions here and there.
is endurance charges more likely mandatory?
pretty much, but I think it is possible to manage without them even tho it is not the best idea
like they are very strong right now
To my knowledge, Endurance charges also apply to degens which drastically increases their value.
how good is block?
those cap at 75% so 25% will still hit you, isnt that a bit too lethal?
except for chaos they are reducing anything, pretty crazy
i dont know
lucky block is amazing, block is very unreliable alone
what is lucky block?
so glad got the upper hand on the block thing, still you can manage without it as another defensive layer
rolls 2 times
saw a video on gladiator ascendancy with lucky block, i hear its easier to get it
you get the ascendancy node now and yeah, that is it
Im planning to play sunder/earthquake/frostblade
What should i plan to take as a starter leveling build any suggestions?
Can be slayer trickster or champ
i kinda wanna try bleed, i never played melee build before idk if splitting steel is melee but since they buff it might as well try it
Has there been anything said if there's going to be unique tinctures?
no, we are a bit in the dark on tinctures
That is a dang shame since my go-to build got a bit gutted with removal of raider
what? roa?
yeah, cold flicker dead, not only because raider got removed
if you still want to flicker you should look for slayer, the only viable option right now
deadeye frenzy node is crazy bad
Impale zerker might work aswell tbh
zerker feels kinda bad right now, and slayer is enjoying the endurance charge meta
fair
Flicker got a huge buff tho
might also just change out my playstyle and go for some gigatank build
will have to see
jugg seems a good option for it, you can be invincible, but I wonder about dmg
I bet is… slayer/warden/jugg/glad most played ascendancy
glad and warden for sure, at least in the beginning of the league
Tinctures seem interesting for sure
was there any poison tinctures revealed yet?
havent really scoured thru the patchnotes myself
how well would this work with flickr strike or too far away for normal builds?
Poison was on reveal
So taunt mastery was added for totems, but it requires totem to be stunned first, which is not likely to happen when you are stacking totem life for flamewood, and the totem needs to be stunned first before enemies focus it. Aaaaaagh
I think we saw it in the trailer/reveal
Nothing like it was during its league
IMO a lot of people gonna leaguestart melee and then realise that even with all of those buffs they are in fact still playing melee and need to constantly keep up with the weapon progression and selfcraft 95% of their gear and they gonna reroll into the flavour of the month mine/spell build anyway
no poison with all anymore
Nothing wrong with that ? Always been how melee work
that is what makes warden a safe pick tho, the options are easier to deal considering ailments
oh yeah I just mean there's gonna be a rather big group of people baited by the numbers that never knew how melee works
It was to smash weapon on ground and kill monster
Is crafting a level weapon if hard? Look for flat damage lol
I'm really itching towards wardening with some kind of ele melee skill like MS or FB but it kinda smells like bait too
welp atleast alot of chaos to be made crafting weapons early league lol
it looks safe considering scorch and freeze, shock seems more tricky tho. Freeze also got buffed against bosses which helps with the lack of defenses on the ascendancy
Molten strike on warden looks really good
Vendore recipe
Shock you need to hit a bunch I think
also the ult, is a helpful addition considering how good the ailments are
50 times in a frame of 2-2.5s, you can also consider the passive which resets ailments when enemy is cursed
that's what I'm thinking, freeze should make it all worth it so fuck it, with FB it should also good enough clear, I just weep there is no attack speed node on there, maybe there's gonna be a special tincture or something wink wink
cant wait to see the new uniques
Do any mana burn passives apply to bloodsoaked blade/weeping wounds, or no because it is a different debuff?
The Warlock curse stuff got added back as rings
the what now
There's one for Affliction, one for Pacify, and one for Penance Mark.
you mentioned warlock curse seems there is a way to actually guarantee you the lucky block thing with one of the curses, and than you proceed to face tank
I am unsure if Affliction's damage -> life regen is affected by damage reduction on the minion
am i wrong or there is no melee retaliation skill usable if you block when you DON'T wield a shield or dualwielding ?
--> ie : staff/warstaff
we don't know, but crushing fist may be
I think retaliation skills might be bait
any ETA on the new skill info release ?
because you need to block to retaliate?
actually there is a passive node allowing you to use retal skill after you get hit 5 times
Probably in 2 days
bro have you ever used a staff ?
thx
no, why should I?
because you can block while using a staff maybe ?
in fact you can block with any weapon if you get block chance in a way or another
Then why are you assuming you can't use retaliation skills in that manner lol
because it is said in their description
Is it? I haven't seen the gems, didn't think they were released yet.
It's probably done that way because they're balanced around being 1h skills, and if they're used with a 2h weapon they're probably too strong.
guess we'll see soon enough
Sup
As someone who doesn't quiteunderstand the mechanics of all the technical changes that happened, is there a good post balance minion build that I could leauge start? I usually play bow builds and kind of want to switch it up and try out the new blight stuff with a minion build. Mostly just looking for recommendations worth doing research on. Preferably not BAMA.
What’s the new blight stuff?
minion in bad position, witch is dead this league
Cool, it was kinda annoying looting all the chests after a blight map
thats still there afaik
is trickster hexblast miner a good build for a single character during the league? something that that makes a good league starter and can later be converted into a stronger build.
What else would you recommend for a single character during league?
i'd wait for any updates to builds but hexblast should be strong
hexblast mines occultist still looks pretty solid for sanctum rushing
Whoops, I was reading the scarab turning all chests into one? .File:Blight Scarab of the Blightheart inventory icon.png
Blight Scarab of the Blightheart
. It no longer provides "Blight Oils found in Area are 1 tier higher". Instead, it now causes Blight Encounters in an Area to have one Blighted Chest, Blight Encounters in an Area spawn more waves of Enemies, Blighted Chest in Area grow larger and more rewarding the more Blighted Enemies are slain".
I'd adore for there to be a node that simply opened all Blight chests without needing so many clicks 😛
theres the spell mastery to open chests that works(?)
though understandably thats only an option for some builds
good thing about this change is that you don't care that much about doing blight in toxic sewer anymore, but it's still the best map for it I guess
True!
It also guarantees oils/maps, doesn't it? Since Blight has to spawn at least one chest that has them
fair point 🙂
do we know how the new trading system decides whose orders to fulfill first? ie if 3 people put up buy orders for a currency at the same conversion rate whose buy order is fulfilled first?
unconfirmed but probably whoever list first
fair enough, wonder how much undercutting will become an issue in that case
u lose the gold if u cancel listing so i dont see ppl relisting to undercut
natural undercuts is just part of the economy and is healthy in driving competition/fair price so shouldnt be a problem
if anything the biggest concern is probably a cabal/group cornering an illiquid market, but even that should solve itself with community information and ppl rushing to fill the gap
we'll have to see though
and ig worst cse scenario there should still be litings of things on the regular trade site
true fair enough, i was probably overthinking it
ig another concern is price check macros/poeninja price, is that gonna be based on trade site or exchange
like bad actors can list alterations for divines en masse on trade site to pump the price check and ppl start listing in exchange base on their macro price checks
you'd have to imagine checking through poe ninja would die off with this implemented right
if this is fully implemented/long enough for ppl to feel safe with the ratio on exchange without double checking yea, but i imagine most users would/should check before listings just in case any weird abuse cases do happen
we'll probably still see posts on reddit of ppl selling 100div for 1c or something
It would help if currency prices could be shown through the game directly while in map, as in price of divine to the most popular currency exchange, though i don't see this being a problem except with new players and people with bad loot filters
Does anyone knows if you need a premium stash tab to trade currencies on the exchange?
you dont
New atlas passive making blighted and ravaged maps more frequently dropped some other atlas changes that may or may not be good for blight. Added double anointed amulet drops from blight ravaged and a new highest tier blight oil with new annoints that use it
bois, will the boat and the mapping from the league mechanic continue working while we're offline?
everything this league is real time
or almost
I missed the part where GGG said that, so that's why I'm asking, damn, I was about to skip poe entirely until poe 2
same, so :))
Are there any atlas passives for settlers this leauge like they had last leauge
no
That's kind of lame they stated last leauge they wanted to continue that going gotward
No, they said it was an experiment.
And they weren't happy with how it turned out, so they've decided against doing it again.
the feedback on that is really negative, they say they might try again in the future with (keystones?) ways that modify how u interact with the league mechanic, but not mandatory notables/buffs like we had with necrop
Last league there was a cortex corpse that is coming back this league that I loved. Problem is that it crashed my game and the game of whoever was with me regularly. Is there a good way to see if they have fixed this?
They did not fix it during affliction league.
Note: it crashed random people I partied with in discord
in patch notes GGG noted: "Non-Gem items that generate with a Random Quality can now generate up to 30% Quality." any idea what these items are?
Superior equipment comes with quality. I think that is what they are talking about
E.g some equipment can spawn with over 20 quality as long as that quality was on it from when it was generated by the loot table
So watch out for over 20 quality bases so you can trade em to crafters 🙂
I see, the initial wording led me to think a currency can get to 30, but they changed perfect fossils and limited tainted currencies to 20%
Yeah they are trying to make ground items more relevant
Does anyone have advice for how to find this out?
cortex corpse ?
Thanks!
I can’t wait to hear that loot drop 🤤
Half remembered goliath
It is the cortex boss but as a spectre 😄
do we know if there will be more trans gems?
just puncture afaik
Are the new anoints still unknown?
its in pob
So I have heard a lot about melee rework this league, I havent read patch notes or anything like that because im kinda dumb, I've usually played melee builds in the past but the worst part about them was having totems or random upkeep stuff that ranged builds usually dont have. Is this something that was changed?
yes
Awesome
Are there any anointments that work on minions being added?
Ancestral Totems have literally been removed, and melee base damage has been increased significantly to make up for that.
Wish they would just release a complete list
Guys, do we have any info on, if gold also drops from stuff like blight and simulacrums? Heist? Since they said gold counts as regular drop, I hope that it drops in the mechs
Also is gold pickup run over? Hopefully I don’t have to click on each gold drop. I’m getting old
Is there ever a world/league where league content is worth doing during acts? I want to rush through acts, but also dont want to potentially lose out on getting things start/some of the new content added
yeah there were leagues where u can spam tidal for tabula/lvling uniques early in act
or getting a nice lvling rare weapons, but if u r playing something strong that dont need these power then rushing to maps probably still better
Im probably playing RF because im a Pohx enjoyer, but am still waiting to see what other people cook up
Any idea what the icon to the left of bow is on here?
staff
These are the same icons that are used in the crafting bench in your hideout, so you could also just check that.
ah yep im an idiot
I was looking at the highlight, where the Wand icon matched the crafting bench one.
They do match the unique stash tab, though.
I'm hoping they are multi-meaning icons for dagger/2-handed axe/wand/bow icons
hopefully they still means one-handed melee/2 handed melee/ 1-hand range/ 2-hand range
Q&A said the cheaper ones apply to all weapons
Is there another 1 handed ranged weapon other than the wand?
and those look like the cheap ones
rune daggers
well they have melee basic attack animation
but that is the name of those icons on the crafting bench
Nice nice ty
Has any seen any mention of how party play is gonna be handled for settlers?
to each their town
Yea I'm mostly wondering how minerals will be divided up when you're party playing, I do duo and it kinda sucks when it doesn't give anything to the 2nd guy
hmmm, hopefully its like beast where players nearby when u find it gets a copy of it (which u then process/mine from ur own town)
cuz otherwise i could see abuse case where ppl bring in 6man party when they find the rare verisium or something
This is probably too late to be asking these questions, but are there any tutorials for the new league mechanics? Also, since I find playing with a mouse and keyboard difficult, I play mostly with a controller. Is there any way to prevent gems from leveling automatically?
no real "tutorials" other than going in day 1 and experiencing it ourselves
New league mechanics is very rough, the reveal video pretty much says what we know
at least not from ggg, youtubers will make vids
yea 12 hours in content creators will have some videos up
Thank you. I'll keep an eye out for them.
what is a quin build
zero dps build
oh wtf, no wonder they keep talking about quin build with the new glad node
but this league quin will actually have dps
Well ST work with the new tinctures. I know the projectiles are ranged. But the weapon is melee? will i need the wardens ranged thing?
yeah
im doing warden ST lol andwondering if the need the tincutes work on ranged weapons since ST uses melee weapons
he somehow manages to make the most overpowered skills look unplayable in pob
what skill
Man. Trying to figure out what skill I wanna use with Gladiator is hard
is boneshatter nerfed hard this league?
no
wait whats the difference for berserker or jugg for the boneshatter build
jugg can stack strength with the pillar of the caged bonk
What league starters are we doing?
Darn elon, is poe playable on tesla screen?
we dont know lmfao, so many changes so many options
really easy to level with pconc and since ur slayer you can go other builds later on in league
like LS or RV
does chieftain have other builds besides RF ?
oro flicker strike should be more than decent
Will sanctum have gold?
Not yet confirmed, but if it does it is unlikely to have much gold, due to the low numbers of enemies
sanctum main exiled from this league
yoke is gonna be hella pricy this league isnt it
I'm going to try an LS Warden
Oil Extractor's were removed 😦 missed that
there's no numbers for retaliate skills right?
not yet, they'll be posted before launch
oh cool ty
I thought that said "lunch" and got very excited
well it's nearly 2pm here so that would be a slightly questionable lunch hour if so
Is everybody's town going to look exactly the same? Will there be any design choices or cosmetics or anything to differentiate them?
how long is settlers league going to last for?
Wonder if this is intended for Warbanners next patch or if it's POB that's wrong.
About 13 weeks, until we're told otherwise
i would say 4 month but let's say 13 weeks atm as say Brohark
I know right. It'll probably be extended or adjusted, especially if there's a poe2 early access launch to dodge, but we've gotta go with what the "official" information is as a starting point.
dual wield bleed never sounds like a good idea
Dual Strike of Ambidexerity or Ice Crash of Cadence maybe?
@chrome crypt how you getting that
you cant place multiple banners at max valor I think
whats happening there is I think its counting all placed at max valor setting
have number on poedb, really huge numbers tbh
For the enchants they stated that unique mods could be craftd on weapons?
as they showed it, there was atleast some of the enchants that was based off of mods from unique items
Now if they would tell us how party play is gonna be handled for the league, that would absolutely make my day 🙂
how? it's gonna be fucked hard of course
very good point, still I hope they come out with some information soon
very excited to play melee this league, sweep looks really fun
I'm not sure about the bandit leader change? Specifically, the golden fist giving a passive point. Are you still ahead of people who chose a bandit leader to keep alive for passive points? It still seems like a better deal to get the extra passive point.
Now you can kill all for 1 instead of 2 points, but get that 1 missing point from the side quest
So you'd have 1 extra yea
Okay, gotcha. That makes more sense. Though I'm still wondering if the change really makes the bandit leaders worth it?
I think their bonuses are more in line with 1 passive now
have they confirmed if % life recovered on hit is still in the game?
Thinking that 4 watchstones isnt as important early this league compared to pure speed mapping. The earlier you get enough gold to slap 3 map devices and autorunners the earlier you sta k free loot
Might just not go for glad due to that and go a zoomy build with low defenses
Movement speed is always a stat that's hard to get, so 8% that you can just grab for a passive will be tempting for some
Pretty much everyone who played life builds would grab the old +50 life mastery, which has now been nerfed to just 30, so I would expect +40 for 1 passive to be fairly popular
15% ele res isn't amazing, but it also isn't really something you can otherwise grab for 1 passive, and if you are short some res it might just be worth it for you. Probably not gonna be that popular though
Here's to hoping they add link skill stuff this league somewhere
res early campaign is a life saver
ngl i think i'll miss old alira losing 5 flat mana regen when they increased mana costs sounds rough
Clarity didn't take up that much room
any build for sanctum farmer?
same as before
just turbo dps totems or brands
i loved using brands for sanctum once i got a lot of brand attachment range from clusters
when brands start jumping from half a screen its game
which one is betteR? im assuming inquisitor better?
depends on your investment i liked using my charge stacking trickster with some agressive gear and gem swap
like mings hearts and dropping defensive auras for offensive
as a league start just never dont sanctum farming early game so i want to try
idk if trans stormbrand or penance is best rn with the nerfs
but globally you just want good range auto target and huge damage you can get from removing defenses
Pen brand is quite s bit better
aight , didnt play brands last league i did sanctum a lot in wildwood league
so i didnt know if the nuke on penance made it weaker or not
normal pen brand?
No, dissipation
So have you decide what build you gonna play for league starter ?
still lacking gem data
How many days before patch release do we traditionally get 20/20 gem data?
day before but some times sooner, with more recently releases leaning sooner
Righteous fire terrorist
does the ground slam damage really fall off if we are far from the boss?
Deals up to (40-49)% more Damage with Hits to closer targets
Any cyclone build you can start with now ?
Archmage moving in to frost nova of ice bolts.
cyclone may not be the best to league start, but just like some builds you can manage your way if you can cover for the early lacks
cyclone shockwave slayer probably still good
Tbh I don't wanna swap builds, I like to play the same build from beginning to mapping.
Which are the new hot melee builds for something like this?
Arent all build always have swap period?
Anyone know if there will be a separate settlement and gold for each character?
I mean there are swap periods early while which is fine I guess
Then try to look for SSF related build, It have less swap ,maybe? But settlers have 6 map slot, half - efford build can't make it to t17 , IMO
I mean boneshatter also doesn't swap skills after campaign
Hello guys , im kinda new to this game with those builds and i wanted to ask ya'll if someone can help me with a flicker strike or ice crash build on POB for 3.25 , if you guys deviced anything of sort i would be very grateful for your help
no direct info on it afaik, but it's probably pretty safe to assume it's gonna be shared across characters in the same league.
When are the league rewards gonna be released?
Will slayer boneshatter still be doable for settlers?
do we know if map runners follow your atlas tree
like if you heavily invest into heist can they pick up a lot of contracts and blueprints
in raq they said they aren't affected by atlas
can they run blighted maps?
boneshatter is not bad, but feels like a bad choice, no more totems and it was also not buffed enough to compare to some of the other melee options we have now
Darn, was my goto for the last 5 Leagues aaa
your chance to enjoy other melee builds
Ill have some copium and try slayer bs anyways, just to see how it feels
but like I said, it is not bad, you can still go to it if you really want
the gem was buffed, and melee is stronger because of the new quality and passive tree. At worst you can transition to something similar that may be doing better
For me aslong as I can do pre uber stuff ill be glad, tho only one way to find out
GGG have shown in teasers and in the official reveal that various bases like belts or boots can now roll higher flat HP, but the only one I've found in the patch notes are body armours, do we know what's real?
Also thanks for giving your opinion, helped with abit of deciding
I think I can be happy with a bleed glad build. Explosions will make clear much less of an issue, easy block you can coast on for a good while
War of Attrition to help with single target. That was always bleed glad's bigger problem
I wonder will the amount of gold earned allow for complete respecs or more of a dozen of skill points?
it might be more of an early game thing. they showed the respec at an unknown character level, but it cost like 6kish gold per node and a 10 boss maven invitation dropped like 15k gold.
early for sure no, but we can either expect it to be very easy or to be a combined effort of using orbs and gold to respec
saying early I mean, you are at around 80-90 and wants to respec your entire tree
small amounts are probably fine
the longer you play we can expect it to be plentiful, at least I hope so
Yeah I kinda got the hint it's meant to be small amounts + using the orbs. I'm a casual player so I like the idea of being able to change up a build if I get a item drop or something. Not a full respect but like adjusting things without having to farm.
we still have the multiple pages, so unless you want to change your ascendancy (eg glad to slayer) you are probably fine
and it was feasible to do a full respect even with only the orbs, so consider it like a way to make things cheaper
Yeah I'm not a seasoned veteran at this like many people 😆
I expect gold respec to be cheaper and easier than regret orb before 70, then gold is better spent on something else
I will check early. If its cheap km definitely taking both the axe onslaught wheel and thr onslaught effect wheel for leveling
30% boosted onslaught on kill is pretty cracked for leveling
Boneshatter will genuinely be about the same as last league, but slightly less top dps against a boss, but slightly better clear.
Running it is not copium
You might also be able to find some use for autoexertion as well
It has just lost its undisputed spot as the #1 melee build
Wat warcries do u auto n manual for slams
Whichever ones you don’t want the buffs for
Thanks for the extra wisdom!
what does this change actually do? does it make mobs with stacked essences faster to die in general? or other way around?
Essences now grant increased Toughness instead of Life to the Monster they are affecting, and grant a small amount of increase Item Rarity and Item Quantity to the Monster for each Essence affecting them. The higher toughness a monster has, the less damage it takes. A monster with 100% increased Toughness takes 50% less damage, a monster with 200% increased toughness takes 67% less damage, and so on. Reduced toughness causes monsters to take more damage.
You're welcome
We dunno, because that doesn't include any numbers except how the stat functions in general
ok, makes sense; ty
It functions like Reservation Efficiency
You're welcome
What it does do is make it harder to leech from essence monsters if you were only barely getting enough damage to leech
But that probably won't affect anyone that isn't running DoT
I never understand people playing the exact same build league after league, we repeat the same thing with our irl 9-5 job already, why keep going with repetition even in a game?
Do what you enjoy?
enjoy doing the exact same thing every league? good for them, can endure both irl and gaming repetition
I mean.. everyone's different. Because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. Nothing to really understand there lol
well, you can consider any hobby also a repetition.. or partying etc 😄
whatever floats your boat, who cares what others think
Hey guys, I cannot decide what build to play.
I wanna focus on: Mapping & Blight. Don't care about Ubers.
I don't like piano builds, a 1 button build is what i'm looking for.
I just wanna chill zoom and blast maps while being a bit tanky.
I'm considering:
- Bleed Glad
- LS Slayer
I've read LS's playstyle might not be for everyone. Something about it not having good coverage, and also pebbles/object on map stopping its projectiles.
Bleed Glad seems alright, but same similar concerns with Lacerates AoE & coverage.
Is there another skill for bleed Glad that good for mapping/Blight?
join me in the dark side of RF
I love RF, played it once a few leagues ago. But wasn't it nerfed like 2-3 times in the past 2 years?
LS warden
honestly I don't even know why people even have any slightest consideration about LS slayer, are you playing HC?
No, SC.
i don't know, as far as i can tell Pohx the goat of RF told us that RF was buffed this league until very end game where it is a weaker version
But I like to be tanky anyways, I suck at the game and never got to lvl 96 no matter how tanky the build 😶🌫️
I got my rf up to a 3 mirror investment last league was face tanking all ubers minus maven memory game. But honestly the kill time is still too slow
Double elevated rf helm with mirror sceptre, double corrupted dawnbreaker and mb
and way before your 3 mirror invest, like around 200div was it good?
It was ok
lacerate (bleed) glad and LS warden both are solid option for league start, and LS warden has infinitely better clear than LS slayer, so up to you if you want to go slow and not dying, or go extremely fast and surprisingly, also not dying
Rf is def a comfy build
ok for which stage of the game
Not a build if u wanna kill shit quick
Its blasts all red maps at 200div, 200 div might be hard for current t17s
maybe i should just ignore bosses
I could only boss after 1.5+ mirrors comfortably
most can handle t17 next league, except if you juice full deli 10k wisp
Still have to dodge sirius blasts and meteors tho
i've never got so much currency, my max invest was like 200div so talking about mirror is impossible for me
200div, u can face tank 100% deli afk its kinda funny tho
how did you farmed those
Crafting is where money is if u understand market
I was mostly a sceptre, helm and jewel crafting
Sometimes yes farm harvest a bit but harvest juice can be bought and its cheap
Rf bad for blight
why so
Thats why im thinking def not rf this season
Cuz u want builds that can offscreen
Rf aoe too low
im kinda disapointed
what do you recommend then
i wanna be unkillable that's the main point
Hmm im not sure yet at this point
Still checking out the diff builds tbh
Lightning arrow still ok
But flimsy
i used to love lighting arrow and tornado shot but i wanna be a tank this game
Im thinking maybe stat stacking moltenstrike
I think its stupid tanky
And does good boss damage
But aoe still a bit low but still higher than rf
Check out Zizarans Explosive Arrow Ballista, i think he updated and uploaded it yesterday or something
i think its decent. doesnt specialize in blight but it aint bad for sure
but for delirium its monster OP i assume
Crayz good for deli
With DoD
what is DoD
Defiance of destiny
didn't the build loose it's firepower?
Its nerfed but he says its still a viable build
I was facetanking 100% t16s maps at lvl 89 with defiance of destiny
i should give it a try then
What are the thoughts about the retaliation skill of Divine Retribution. Good bad meh?
Was considering trying that out in a build.
blight maps or just blight? coz blight can be any build as long as the 2 anoints on rings are good
did they say if manaburn max stack?
doubt it stacks infinitely, but my doubt is like in the amount
quick question, how do we get 30 quality now?
Drop like that
I think you don't
i think ritual can offer 30 quality items
i see, guess its a good thing we get new enchants. harvest enchants have lesser value now
Hi. is that true that in the 3.25 a new campaign "pathing" will be live? I have heard this. Does anybody has source of that?
no?
I want to do a bossing build this league, never done a bossing build ever in Poe
Don’t even know where to start lol
at its basic you'd want to pick a skill that does good single target damage
the classic strats is explo trap trickster, but you do want sunblast
historically something like traps and mines
but if you're not really into speedrunning and very early bossing, its not something i would place very heavy weight on
iirc sunblast is cheap, and will be cheaper this league coz so many people flock to mele builds
It's a couple dozen c early, and it's a rather weird playstyle.
yeah, the delay is annoying if people can't get used to it
Out of curiosity, do all the bosses in City Square count as a map boss, or just the last one you kill? I can't remember if it was changed at some point.
they are "map bossess" but depending on what mechanic u r trying to utilize/interact, only 1 count as the "final map boss" and many mechanics specify the "final" map boss
That's a really solid point and I didn't notice the distinction, thanks.
Are there any good blight strats for 325? I wanna try it cos now its gonna be easier to sell oils
But never did it
Get a build that can clear it consistently, use your towers with the good anoints, get a good filter, get a strong pc
same as every other league, get the 2 anoints on ring for kickstart
Hope your pc survives till the end of the leafue
Ok but how do I make money? Do I sell blighted maps or do them? Same for ravaged? Which is better, do I take every blight node?
My pc is fine for it
Might be easier to just look up a guide. Anything relevant to blight in the last patch will work perfectly fine this league.
it varies a bit depending on the league and market state, but like doing the blight maps can be very profitable if you can do them efficiently
Some people prefer to sell them since it is less time out of maps, it is also good if you can bulk sell them
And the pc thing is not a meme, blight is a frequent reason of crashes in poe
just do it without anoints first, and slowly you accumulate currency, or can do expedition too
expedition early is easy money imho
chance for a divine or something to flip, especially with the in game market this league
Expedition is just annoying tbh. Maybe I just suck at the crafting part too bad to make it worth it, idk.
I usually spec into dan and tujen
Atlas passives dont affect the blight maps, so the passives are mostly for you farming those maps by yoruself
can even sell logbooks early
Expedition is reliable as always
could also flip essences early depending on if you want to invest
Essences will be nice, specially for all those melee builds early and some late crafts
I wonder about sanctum, as discussed before not enough gold, but the rewards are super strong
I usually run RF so sanctum is just a "complete the quest" thing and I ignore. last leagues I couldn't even give the tomes away
Tomes were too easy to get still, and economy was crazy broken too
last league I had such a hard time getting currency late campaign to early/mid maps. Needed to regear for maps and had a valdo's drop that funded it
at start that is
I did a lot of exped but Im just tired of rolling Tujen
how so?
Because its standing in hideout playing with a slider
Hideout warriors make the most money, but I want to play lol
Cookie clicker tujen
got ya, that is me and betrayl enchant farming
so many crap weapons just to get my enchant library for the league
I'm pretty sure my first atlas is going to be kirac/destructive play/betrayal and just snag all the guaranteed Jun scarabs I can. They were extremely cheap at the start of last league, and since you don't really need to do all the min/maxing with betrayal anymore you can just spam executions and go.
Guess exped is fun if selling currency/logbooks is worth it but my days of haggling with tujen are done
Yeah I always take betrayal
usually go strongbox and nodes, expedition and betrayl early
get my enchants, then move on. With the orbs being locked behind catarina, the unveiled flasks are cheap now
I basically always go shrines/boxes/essences, but I'm changing it up this time around.
depending on what happens around the town mechanic too
gamba npc, shipping, crafting etc.
Yeah that's true. I'm actually quite glad there's nothing for the new league on the Atlas, I think that was a wildly failed experiment lol.
Felt so locked into taking most of the necropolis nodes on every atlas
I liked being able to invest more in the leauge mechanic. I don't think it panned well last leauge but because of the leauge mechanic not because of atlas existing
I liked it until it felt mandatory
Which I didn't realize until probably a week or so in
i think if they just did the keystones and the 3 notables that skew the type of corpses wouldve been fine
the allflame drop rate and especially the devoted mods ones are too much
I can’t wait to start building a settlement!!!!
turning a negative mods into positive is like double whammy, triple with the inc/red effects
Hopefully there are lots of town upgrades to chase
I was kind of hoping there would be like a server-wide thing that's been done on other games like FFXIV. Community goals sound kinda cool.
But harder to balance for private leagues and stuff, I guess. Probably better this way.
Yeah, how will that work? Will anyone see my town progress when they come for a trade?
In other games it's typically like: everyone contributes X resource until the requirement is met, then a new thing opens up that takes a new resource, etc., but different vendors and features open up with each completion. It's pretty cool, but it's probably for the best that it isn't that way in PoE.
Can't wait for the slaves to do maps for me
Yes!!! No more messing with tier 1-2 white maps 🙂
Are there new weapon bases or only armor bases?
they said the currency market will only be this league? that aobut next league and next next 😔
It's experimental. If it works the way they want it to, they'll probably just keep using it.
Depends on how it pans out
Like basically all features in every new league: if it's good, they'll keep it around.
They probably know that removing such a convenience will not be popular
Hopefully they will just tweak gold costs etc
There are lots of good ideas that aren't executed well. This one seems well thought out, though, and my guess is that they've added it to test it for PoE 2 and will likely end up keeping it after a few changes are made.
The 10 max order thing seems like it's likely to be changed, I can't imagine that being the limit for long.
Probably failing on the side of caution in terms of abuse risk
is Delirium farm good next league? or it has been nerfed?
For sure, it's better to start off small and expand rather than start off huge and adding more limitations.
Kinda makes sense to increase together with rise in economy, to avoid monopolies
Deli farm always good
great
I think there will be a lot of money to be made with weird exchange rates. Everyone will list for chaos/divs, but how many people are gonna have Alt to Chrome listings for example.
Or essences to ex/alts/etc. It will be fun to play with.
people are gona be flipping currency like crazy using the dual exchange rate they are gona buy one currency for cheap in one marker sell high in the other until they crash the economy
because the currecy will get uber inflated
People already do that
If you find an imbalance with vendor recipes you can exploit that easily too
not like how its gona happen this league
I always have a spreadsheet with current exchange rates, if anything the increased volume will stabilize the prices faster
mark my words the economy will crash so hard ggg is gona have to manually interviene
That sounds like fun ^^ lets goo
lmfao
I don't think that will happen specifically because gold and max orders both exist
There will be a lot of fun opportunities to manipulate the most popular exchanges to weird esoteric ones on low volume trades though
economist could write multiple doctoral thesis with this game
Simulated economies are the real economies
what do people think about harbi now they nerfed the fun scarab?
(The Harbinger Scarab of Discernment has been renamed to Harbinger Scarab of Obelisks. It no longer causes Harbingers in an area to drop rarer currency shards, or to drop a single type of currency shard. Instead, it now causes Harbingers in Area to spawn Empowered Obelisks, and Empowered Obelisks drop Currency Shards when Defeated.)
Could anyone explain why tinctures are not dead on arrival?
They take away a flask slot in a game with many powerful flasks, both offensive and defensive, for something that's just... yet another source of "increased damage"? 🤔
because with wardens u can get perma tinctures
Basically, any offensive tincture needs to compete with Taste of Hate, which is also defensive on top
but tinctures can give tons of MORE damage, especially if you have perma uptime with warden
Having full flask uptime isn't much of an issue
Why does it need to compete with Taste of Hate? It just gives phys as extra cold, don't tinctures have a myriad of effects for elemental/chaos/etc?
It seems to me like you're assuming only phys damage will use tinctures and that's just wildly incorrect
These are the tincture mods, not really impressed:
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Tincture
There are some tinctures still to be revealed but the known ones aren't super exciting
A tincture is an item that can be equipped in a flask slot and activated to enhance the user's melee weapons with special bonuses. While active, they inflict Mana Burn on the user, causing mana loss over time at an accelerating rate, and will automatically deactivate when you reach 0 mana. By default, you can only have one tincture active at a t...
there's a 100% ele dmg tincture and that's just the base amount. You can still roll mods on them
100% increased, not more
LOL no
you have hatred if you're running ToH for offense, that's 40% as extra
Killing Blows against Rare Monsters have a (20-30)% chance
to grant one of their Modifiers for 60 seconds budget headhunter in a flask
honestly, with like 50% tincture effect 45% crit multi + 150% increased is kinda crazy on some builds. With 1000 inc and 500 crit multi that's almost 20% more damage.
All I'm saying is that tinctures have 9-12% ele penetration (and 17-25% overwhelm phys) on them, and that's with zero tincture effect. You straight up aren't beating that kind of damage with a flask.
Where do you see crit multi on tinctures?
in the reveal
the wiki doesnt contain all the information
they showed a photo of one with 27% melee crit multi
I see, missed that, that could change the calculation 🤔
Guess we'll have to wait for the patch to hit
if tinctures are good bow warden is meta, else deadeye IMO
