In PoEDB it shows the weights of each mod and it's tiers. Increasing the chance of X modifier makes it so it's more common, + X mod tier rating makes it so that if you roll that mod, the chances of higher tears will be higher

it doesn't block it per say? idk. The way I see it is like this. Life mod has 9 tiers, 1,000 weight per tier. You craft the item with life and PoE picks a number between 1 and 9,000. If it's 3,452 you get a T4 life mod. If you had +600 life modifier then it's be 3,452 + 600 = 4,000+ which in turn gives you a T5 modifier. At least that's how I see it, I could be very much wrong tho, jut applying DnD logic xD

-The corpses have their levels mentioned in the list. Do those levels affect the resulting item, and if so how?
-Arimor says that it's extremely important to bury the corpses in the correct patterns, and indeed hovering over a grave highlights 4 adjacent graves. However it seems that this does not actually do anything? I could get an exorcism going with like 8 different corpses, and it worked just fine.. So what is this about?

I'd suggest a summoner build - Zombies or Summon Raging Spirit - or Righteous Fire. RF is good to start as long as you're comfortable learning how to manage stats and flasks (potions/consumable heals). Summoners are better if you're new to the world of video games and want the game to play itself somewhat while you learn how it all works

Current league is 3.24

(There's a new league every few months, with new mechanics, balance patches, etc. It's uncommon for anything to be changed so drastically that it's impossible, unless that build was using unique items that were exclusive to the last league.) It won't work exactly the same, but it should be more than good enough to get your feet wet and decide if you want to really dive in/how you want to play moving forward

Has the +tier rating been figured out yet? The interview with Mark seems to be completely different with what is is actually in practice. Ie. it was said +50 cuts out bottom 1/3rd, +100 cuts out bottom half, +150 cuts out bottom 2/3. I've seen +490 phys roll a T2 mod, but I think at that point, only T1 should remain based on the scaling? unless +340 isn't enough to go from 67% to 89%?

Assuming we're talking about bows, there are 8 tiers of bow phys% mods and and 9 tiers of bow phys# mods. If the math holds true 1/(x+1), you would need to cut out 87.5% of phys mods for t1 bow phys%, which is 700 weight. There is a handy calculator for this over on PoEDB. (You would probably not want to do this. Phys% is incredibly low weight, 25, and phys# is 700. There's about 56k prefix weight before removing lower tier weight, and about 43k weight after removing all but t1/t2.)

It doesn't force it, but if it rolls 5 times and chooses the best one, it's more likely to choose to the top one. And if you make it roll 25 times, you're basically guaranteed to get the top one.

The 700 comes from how we expect the math to work out with respect to increasing tiers, that is, if we want to block out the bottom 87.5% of x modifiers based on there being 8 modifiers and the calculation of 1/(x+1)=what percent of tiers remain.
