No. that's not how poison works. In fact, you're basically just describing normal TR. Poison is an ailment, which means it can only be applied by a hit. A hit of physical and/or chaos damage which has a chance to poison can cause poison, which will deal chaos damage over time based on the base damage of the hit that caused the poison.

In this case, the hit is the pods exploding, which is the way Poison TR is currently played anyway. Sporeburst TR will just be better for poison, at the cost of the inherent DoT

Check out the leveling tab - looks like there's a pretty heavy swap while leveling which relies on a couple of vaal + leveled gems (which means you'll need to be planning and/or saving early) as well aws VERY specific sockets to support that, different than the ones prior - basically you have one build until 65 then need to swap to a VERY specific build with specific items that you might have a hard time finding/making.

I believe that if you buy any microtransactions from the standalone client or the website, GGG gets the full % rather than having to dish out some to steam. That's more of an ethical difference though, but I try to always buy supporter packs through the website.

Yo CF Champ is fantastic. Fast, explodes everything, tanky… it’s like a different flavor of LA.
Got a slight buff this league due to reap damage.
Highly recommend.
The swap has never been an issue for me, but it does mean you basically aren’t playing the build until late in the game. That’s really it.

Yes, Lightning Arrow - Tornado Shot can do anything and is fast as hell. But, be wary of content where you are "trapped" in a smaller area with plenty of enemies

Lightning Arrow will be popular and the build guides are thorough. So as you progress other LA players that want to sell off their old gear will have lots on offer. As long as you keep your distance, you can def get to late maps, and then later switch to Tornado Shot and crush almost everything

LA into TS does not use new gems, either
