heres a funny bug, in tota while you place your units, your flask duration indicators freeze, but their effect duration not. not sure if all the flasks are bugged but the onslaught effect 100% (i even have the flask effect animation around me, but not the actuall effect, that is onslaught and the secondary effects like evasion rating). So the moral of the story, always use your flask at the beggining of tota, never trust flask effect indicators.

the only solution I've found is to do everything you can to ensure you aren't fighting certain tribes near the end

and it's so easy to get caught in losing streaks where you lose a tournament and then don't have enough good units in following tournaments

I usually have a tidecaller 2 spear dancers and a hinekora Horn on defense. If I can afford I change the tidecaller to the magma ape unit from kaom. I put strong offensive units to escort to kill the tutel if needed, something like jade shamans and goliats, flankers can be thrash units. Important, if you are not immune to chaos damage, buy a sage from ramako to escort you, to counter death guide bs. Offense I dont prio some leftover thrash is good, but make sure you cap totems.

red has more consistent, but mostly lower value rewards, but those come in the form of very liquid or easy to liquidate currency. so stuff like raw chaos, sextants, vaal orbs. The blue altars are more of a jackpot thing when it comes to rewards and are mainly interesting for their quant and rarity boosts for certain strategies.
For the red altars you want to look into getting burning ground immunity via the minor pantheon tho.

the shit tattoos you will get one offered as a bonus reward after every tournament (7 rounds), you also can get them as rewards for each round (if you select them). The "less" common ones can be a bit rarer and might require you to grind up your tournament rating a bit too

But if you do some tournaments and get some currency you can also just buy a shit load of the common ones and transfer them over

Go for alira instead of all bandits in act 2, good for early resists and mana regen. You can respec once you've finished the campaign and have eldritch battery on your tree

For campaign you'll generally swap gear and upgrade quite often so I wouldn't recommend spending too much to roll for correct colours, you'll probably only keep wands or sceptres if you pick up +fire skills or good additional spell fire damage rolls when you run pyroclast before you swap to hexblast

You can only use orbs of binding on a normal item to turn it into a rare four link

Or look for specific colours and links from town vendors then alch or essence them

Focus on putting 3 units on the flanks and 3 attackers initially and they'll do work

ive tried holding off enemies and letting allies flank, they barely touch the enemy totems before either dying or losing focus

ive tried rushing the back of the enemy base but will have 4-8 enemies hunting me down, definitely wont work once the damage becomes impossible to survive

You're their to just annoy/distract the opponent

Its a pretty neat mechanic and in my experience if you're winning, divines and other semi valuable things are not that uncommon

You can certainly make over a div in 300 runs but it depends whether u enjoy how it plays, very different from traditional mapping. Also it won't start at monster level 83(t16) so you're ok to start

Silver coins have a low factor intensity, the main factor that goes into running TOTA is just time. At this current price, enough people run tota that the same amount of silver coins are being generated as are being consumed by TOTA runners
In other words, silver coins are generated at a high rate but consumed at a very low rate, resulting in a surplus of silver coins thus the equilibrium price is high

Yeah. I'm in a private league and I had a fractured siege axe laying around. I then recalled the vendor recipe trick used last league to turn a fractured item into a regular normal item so we solved the problem!

I am running blight at the moment because it’s something I have always wanted to do with max juice and I am hitting 300mill dps atm.

Is there any way I can get more dps? I am looking at LA and Barrage as my bow will transition into it perfectly. TS Phys to cold requires a massive amount of div investment where as LA Barrage is Helm, Chest and some gems all for about 80 divines.

So basically do I go barrage for 80divs or should I stay TS and sell my bow for a cheap phy bow?

you can make a ranger or elementalist, do hollow palm leveling which takes around 3 to 5h dpending of your game experience to reach act 10, once you are lvl 65 or 70 (so do a few maps after leveling) you can switch to tota build which cost maximum 1,5 divines and works up to rank 2000

Before TOTA goes core, if it goes core, please for the love of god add a method to move a tattoo on your tree without destroying it. Like I actually quit out of the game when I realized I had to delete my tasalio McConga tattoo

Moving it one freaking node up cost like 0.4div at the time, my daisy chain ran like 1.5. It makes POB even more mandatory (not knocking POB, Just read 'Unnecessarily Obtuse Design Choice') and even then the tooltips barely let you see indirect dps so youre shooting in the dark comparing apples to chicken breasts if one keystone outweighs two additional flat stats to put the split personality in etc etc, just accept that its not the kind of game where you can just stick it in and its "fine there"

I've been reading something about a void sphere build being best for tota, but idk much about it. Personally I'm doing skelemage Necro and it works quite well, so my recommendation for templar is a minion build of some variety

You just wanna be able to channel on totems and hamper the enemy at same time so anything that supports that is nice.

Probably something that get its preferred or semi-preferred build weapon early or just hollow palm

E.G. brightbeak is like a level 22 weapon and you can go mapping with it with some builds

I take my time with acts so not the best source for specific builds, but easily my smoothest runs are with anything that gears like that. You just stop in town, talk to quest npc, and keep moving without even looking at stash while keeping your dps up

I'm personally liking glacial hammer trauma stacker jugg if you havent gotten any recommendations yet. 0 idea how it compares to purpose built bossing builds, but it does all the content I ask it to without dying to being looked at

And it can pull some real dps per poe ninja builds, though mine isnt even close yet

Rn I have 45% base movespeed bonus, quicksilver, berserk, 4x frenzy charges for all my movespeed stuffs

Travel skills differ a bit, I think most use leap slam, but frostblink-bonechill is a clunkier option

The buy in weapon is 1c unique mace, but you'll craft a chest and shield thats gonna run maybe 10 div each to do if good rolls. The peak endgame mace ends up alot more expensive, still crafting it. You'll also want anom bloodrage and divergent trauma which cost a bit even on pc afaik

You can spend some div on jewels too, but you only absolutely need a cluster and a timeless which I actually skipped on the timeless for some reason

You basically just zoom around the map smacking mobs around without any worry about dying and can tank most uber attacks well with fine dps even with a frostbreath like I still have

Rage generation is an issue for bossing, but a reckoning set up exists thats maybe ok

I discovered a most fortuitous thing, if you're channeling a Titanic Shell totem before it guards, and it starts guardian as your channeling, the channel wont get interupted, and will destroy the totem

It is cheaper if you want everything, but if you want something specific it usually isn't

Some things are rarer than others aswell

They deliberately stuff the boxes with recolors of less desirable items so people keep pulling for the rare ones
