Armor and items don’t necessarily become important until you make it to end game

The ones you get as you’re playing the story mainly help you through it

Once you get to the end game, mapping and bossing you start to look at items and it’s stats, once you get through act 5 you get a de buff of 30% to all resistances and at endgame it gives another 30% so that’s when resistance and items become more important for you to survive

i have a idea that could make harvest great again. on console a lot of players hate the nerfs to harvest and i dont blame them. with how small the player base is on console you normally cant just trade for really good gear. And crafting isnt as much of a viable option either because of the price of things. the 3rd highest tier of most essences are 10c each fossils can get expensive as well. and without the gear to grind for them it makes it that much harder unless you are running some boring meta build. Pc has it much better since everything is generally 10x cheaper and 20x the quantity of items being crafted farmed or randomly dropped. harvest kind of filled that gap for console but i agree that it was too powerful and deserved to be nerfed but now its mostly as unreliable and random as every other crafting method. the only good thing is that its basically free. A solution GGG could implement that would give us the best of both worlds is adding a currency cost to the craft similar to the basic crafting bench. That way we can have access to what truly made harvest great and allow more players to be able to craft while making it to where you cant make a bunch of mirror tier gear as easily as you could before. the other crafting methods could still be used as a cheaper alternitive if you cant pay the cost or dont need expensive harvest crafts to get what you need or just want a place holder until you can harvest craft.

When I started playing PoE again on xbox a couple weeks ago for the new league, I was happy with how much better the performance was on the Series X vs. my last xbox. Perf and graphics were all good. Network was fine. I was happy.

But the same day the most recent patch came out (c?), I moved my xbox and TV 15 feet across the room. Suddenly massive stuttering and rubberbanding. At first I blamed my situation. I thought, "I was lucky to be getting away with wireless in the first place. Guess it's a problem now..." and so I switched to wired.

But it's no better. In fact, I think it's worse today. And trying to diagnose it gives results that make me think it may be server-side, or at least outside of my house. While I do get some small stutters in the Hideout, starting an Ultimatum just freezes it up at this point - it seems pretty clearly tied to pack size. I frequently get 2+ second pauses (which often lead to deaths) these days.

No more wireless to blame. My internet is otherwise historically dependable and currently fine in other games and for other uses.

Did the patch cause known issues? Is this some weird xbox thing? Need to un/reinstall? Any advice appreciated.

Did you start up a higher-level Ultimatum, I presume? I had done this with a friend, and I guess within tight quarters, summon all the monsters and coherently crashed our connection to the server. We did this twice, so an overload might happen.

It's basicly the same as stone golems, and that can do all content in the game. You just have to realize that you need to farm currency for the 4 primordial jewels. Also try and get 2 clay shapers asap.

Highly advise going necro because it just provides so much more dmg than elementalist.

Make it magic (blue), ie a orb of transmute on a white flask, then use alteration orbs on it until it rolls bleed/corrupted blood immune. If it’s a utility flask then use instilling orbs on it untill it has desired trigger effect, ie use when bleeding or use when flask is full or when adjacent flask is used etc

Also, Life flasks won’t proc use when adjacent mod on utility flasks
