Question, when equipping wands, which can go in either weapon slots, it always equips it into the left slot, replacing whatever is there. I have to use Pick Up and move to the right slot to equip something there. Is there a key/trigger combination that will equip in the right slot instead, or is the "pick up" method the only way?

Yeah that's pretty much the way of it, it always equips a weapon to your " main hand" which for some reason in PoE is left hand... you have to pick it up every time unfortunately.

I thought this was a bug before I realized (a) I needed to assign specific tasks to the workers and (2) I needed to deposit gold in the treasury at the main hub (left bumper when talking to the NPC brings up the deposit/withdrawal menu).

Each shipping destination has merchandise they want and, if delivered in the quantity indicated, provide a bonus to rewards (I think; could be wrong about this). You’ll want to at least ship the desired merch to the destination in a safe quantity. The more you ship, the higher the risk (indicated by the vertical bar that fills as you load stock onto the ship). I’ve never gotten scrolls, which leads me to believe you’re shipping very limited stock that likely is not preferred. Load your ship to fill half that bar red, preferably with the requested stock, and you should get much better rewards than scrolls.

Most people use Wrecker’s filter. It hides items that are widely considered trash (single socket white/normal weapons), and uses different font colors and box lining to help make clear what’s what. For example, armor and weapons that are in pink font are those with three different colored sockets (nice when you’re trying to vendor items for chromatic orbs). Most currency also will appear in pink font (so, basically, pick up most everything that is pink letters). Other details will become familiar as you play, so you might want to check what items are so you get lots of practice recalling what they are. Soon you’ll quickly be able to scan efficiently for loot while running and fighting, stopping only for those items you’re interested in.

It depends on your class and build. You’ll want to find a build guide (on Maxroll.gg or Icy Veins) for the class you chose. Homebrew builds can be really difficult and may discourage you from continuing with the game. There’s a ton of content, builds, loot, currencies, and seasonal mechanics. once again, these little things you can learn in the game following tutorial, but to add the passive you press BACK (the left middle button), you press LT button to move to passive tree (through inventory, character, etc tabs), after you can browse your tree and start adding your passive points, each class has different start points though

MB at 500 Div is a joke, but supply and demand drives that. Apothecary cards are being gambled (mostly failures) and tb has none to buy.

@mint fog If you wish to play Early Access via console, you'll need the appropriate console key to add the game to your library, such as from purchasing one of the console Early Access Supporter Packs on that respective platform.

To be clear, an Early Access key purchased for PC cannot be redeemed on Xbox or PlayStation. You would still have to purchase a supporter pack on Xbox to be able to get Early Access on that console.

Hi, I bought my Supporter Pack via the homepage because I also play games via Steam. On the homepage it says that I am activated for early access.
My wife bought the game yesterday on the XBOX, was able to download the game directly, the supporter pack can be seen on the homepage, the coins are there and the microtransactions that are included in the pack are available in POE1.
However, the homepage does not say that it is activated for early access. Is this normal when you buy the xbox version and it will still work?

I linked my PC and Xbox accounts some time ago and I bought EA pack via Xbox store afterwards.

Unfortunately, for some reason it got assigned to my PC account, same thing happened with coins.

All my previous MTX, including stash tabs and skins are on Xbox account, so I've been talking to support for almost a week now to either move all coins to that account, or move all MTX to PC account. No go either way and I feel like I'm getting canned responses from random support guys.

First time playing on a controller and very new to the game. It seems my "rolling magma" skill mostly shoots over foes in and or near melee range and doesn't hit them at all. With a mouse/KB I can mouse over them in melee range and the magma shot will not shoot over them but instead do a much smaller arc. What are my options with a controller to improve my situation? I tried the 'alternate behavior' toggle for the skill but it doesn't seem to change the behavior at all for this skill

to activate console account you need to buy the key through MS store on xbox or in poe1 game micro-transactions tab on xbox

if xbox:
you can buy the cheapest $30 support pack on the console to get the access to the game
you can also pre-download right now, but you will be able to play 6th of dec

if ps:
you can't pre-download or buy support packs right now, because of Sony, but you should be able to do so on 6th of December to receive the access to the game on your playstation

you will have to link the accounts if you want to conntect them to share mtx, etc
you can do that in manage account tab on the website

I bought a supporte pack (Vaal) via PC on the PoE website, but plan to play on Xbox. I linked my microsoft account, and I thought the pack was linked to the account, irrespective of the platform.
But I can't pre-download PoE 2 Early access as they ask me to pay again.
Do I have to pay again a pack through the Microsoft store if I want to play on Xbox ? Is the supporter pack I purchased only to play on PC platform ?

I have the same doubt, all I can say is that I can start the game and I see no message telling me to get Game Pass Core, but D4 won't let you trade or be in parties if you don't have it. So I am kinda expecting this to happen because early access games on Xbox are not considered Free To Play even if they will become F2P when fully released. If it was considered F2P we would never need it. But there are always special cases like FFXIV that has a F2P limited mode and still requires GP (while being a subscription based game if you want to progress further from the F2P base), this time they could have negotiated the opposite. Closest case I have to compare is Smite 2, it is in early access, will be F2P later but requires GP to play. But in its case, it is truly a multiplayer game while PoE2 is basically auction house, seeing other people in hubs and maybe partying up if you want it but not encouraged to. Each day it makes less sense to have this kind of requirement in consoles.
