The pixelization is the game reducing quality in order to keep up performance. It can do it for either internet or hardware related issues. Speaking as somebody that's played for a long time in Xbox, and sometimes on PC, even having incredible internet can have some internet issues with PoE.

But imo, the more likely suspect is the hardware. If you're on the Xbox One, you might have to just deal with the pixel graphics. You could possibly get an SSD external and play from it, it could help. But the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X have far better performance for PoE.

I usually ask in general 1 chat, most times they'll give you a general price. Sometimes they won't though.

Meanwhile I'll quickly bring it up in the trade market, see what the item is going for. And look at generally the lowest 2-3 prices.

When it comes to a crafted rare, I'll punch it in to poe.trade or ask gen 1 chat for an opinion.

Probably the only ways i know how to price check our items. Would be cool if we had a trade macro, but we don't.

1. I check xbox trade and compare the prices to ps and pc markets
2. If no price on xbox, I go on PC trade and post the item price x3
3. I overprice the item and wait for the offers (only if the item is very exceptional, like perfect adorned jewel or some very hard to make trans gem 21/20, etc)

I wouldn't go on general chat though, people will trick you for selling something to them for much cheaper than actually the item is worth or snipe something for fracture of the price (got one guy who tried top buy really good that which was taken jewel for like 15 divs literally spamming me with messages after posting on trade for 45d, sold the jewel over night on trade for 45 divs)

If it was going to, they would have said so. It launches on the 29th on both the website and YouTube. First time this has actually happened. Could be maybe an error from the new format or it could mean that launches of leagues are going to be the same on all platforms { which is something they have wanted for a while.
It could mean something bigger than that but that's the most reasonable thing that could be happening, in my opinion.

Hi everyone. In the past couple of days I’ve been trying to trade without any luck. Numerous attempts to acquire an ammy with the requested currency have been ignored. I’m wondering if people aren’t receiving notifications that a trade has been offered. I’ve received no requests for trade either these past couple of days, which isn’t entirely abnormal, but it’s got me suspicious that trade notifications are working. It is pretty close to the end of the league that could be why. On top of that, the last update done to xbox a few days ago messed up a decent amount of things. From what I have heard, there are a lot of issues from the recent backend update. They are aware of a few of them. You could inform them of the issues you are having on the forum. Just don't expect a fix immediately. They gotta find the issues, fix them, and then get it through Microsoft I believe. Well some things can't be fixed immediately. BDO is not only a completely different game from PoE, but also a different company.
You also have to remember GGG prioritizes pc over console, so things are a little bit slower to be fixed for us.
I'm sure there are issues they could fix quickly but what's the point in fixing those when people would still crash afterwards due to the remaining issues?

The core of it is E. blade (energy), ghostwrithe makes it more powerful

After that I have a vaal spectral throw wich is the only skill for copying weapons while not being a strike skill

and the last part of the build is charges since I invested in swift killer, I got several items which grant me charges

Frenzy skill, kaom's sign, doedre's elixir and the new malachai's loop

I use a CWDT discharge and arcane cloack with arcane surge

Apart from that I use MoM and clarity

After the str boosts ill get zealot's oath and probably ghost reaver later

to top it off I got a tier 1 talisman which holds a link 4 tornado skill when stunned (night's hold black maw) yesterday and Stormcharger Plated grieves the other day

and my other ring is praxis Paua ring which helps for mana managment

Another intresting thing is that I subsequently invested in to whispers of doom so I can make use of the new Asenaths gentle touch gloves with conductivity

as for my belt I have Soulthirst Cloth belt which is a fine belt

I also have bated breath chain belt in case I dont want to go for ghost reaver

Thats the entire summary of this build

And I suppose it also uses lightning golem and absolition (which triggers conductivity when cast)

and intrestingly one of the support gems for s. throw is in fact prismatic support, which has been bullied

This league, I played a Energy Blade Spellblade inquisitor, specifically Captain Lances build which you can find on YT. He has a self case one and a Cast on Crit one. I did self cast. It was amazing and did a lottttt of damage. It is a great bossing build, especially for Sirus. It was good for mapping but definitely isn't tanky in certain situations. The biggest downside for me was lab with it. Getting Uber lab done was pretty annoying and I had to play so safe. I think I did something wrong for it to be that difficult but I couldn't pin point it. Other than that it was really fun and I recommend it if you want something that can use a lot of different spells

I wouldn't recommend league starting energy blade. You are forced to run sanctum to get currency due to the squishy nature of the early part of the build. If you aren't good at Sanctum I recommend starting something else then doing it as a second character

It might be a little rough for you since your new. Boneshatter really is a good and simple starter if you follow everything from a good guide. I was doing a Standard SSF run and it was pretty easy to progress haven't died once since out of campaign. Of course that Dual strike you could also do.
It might be a little rough though since I don't know how bad the market is going to be. This league it was alright but it was a very very rewarding mechanic. Things are probably going to be really expensive just wanna let you know so you can get prepared for it lol

I hated the amount of loot dropping but that's just me. I did magic finding for a few days and it was boring. I do have a lot of play time so I guess I am just used to it. I feel like rather than focusing so much on the loot, just focus on the journey. Every league, for me personally, I have learned so much and each time I enjoy the game more and more and I still don't even have that much experience at 2500 hours. I do recommend you keep giving it a go. I tried poe when I was like 12 or 13 and didn't understand shit and quit. I kept coming back every so often and began to love the game. It is worth sticking with it, seriously it's a great game

I had a 35div one today which made me feel good lol biggest before was 13 but normally its like 1-3 a map. I just figured out the secret with deli orbs as i didnt use before n its helped drops a lot

Yes loot explosions 24/7 are fun for a while, until it's too much. Divines dropping like bubble gum gets old after a while. The devs even said that what happened this league was too much. I still really recommend you to keep going and trying the game.
About rerolling I completely understand, I did around 8 characters this league. Some bad some good. Had fun, and I remember there was a time where I hated rerolling and leveling. There are so many items you can use for a second character to make the process of going through the campaign much faster. I think the biggest thing to get is to try not to rush everything. People say you can't play poe unless you do it 12 hours a day. I don't believe that. Leagues last 90+ days. There is really no rush. You can take it slow and still accomplish things.
And until you understand the game more if you decide to stay with it, I highly recommend you to keep following build guides. I have a friend who doesn't follow build guides. He started playing before me but I have long since passed his play time. He complains about the game every single league. Never has fun. He doesn't build any real defense and makes characters that have 1900 life and complains about dying in yellow maps with it. I try to encourage him to follow a build guide to further expand his knowledge and understanding of defense but he says he doesn't wanna do that and doesn't have fun doing that. He never has fun and it saddens me but I can't say anything to try to help he usually gets quite aggressive. Build guides allow you to build knowledge of how not only skills work but offense and defense. It's very important. I have yet to do my own build but next league I really wanna try. I just encourage you to try your best to learn the game at a decent pace. There isn't a rush it's a nice ride trust me. And don't feel like you need to play EVERY league. If you play and it doesn't click then don't play. If you every change your mind the game isn't going anywhere

Biggest difference between pc and console is players.
Because we have less players, worse stuff can be worth more. So low end crafts that wouldn't be worth much to sell on pc are worth a bit more here.

Market prices change and fluctuate every league depending on popular builds and amount of players actively farming content as well. It's something you kinda just learn from playing and I know that's not the answer you want and I'm sorry for that but it's kinda the truth. Understanding valuable suffixes and prefixes can be learned quickly though, so if you play enough it shouldn't take too long if you are in a hurry to learn.

Crafting is quite something. I am not really experienced in crafting myself. I use essences and a few other things to craft gear and I get through things. I don't do expensive builds so I never have had to do big crafts.
There are so many guides for crafting that you can find on YT that would do a much better job at explaining it than I would. I still wish to offer you help but I do want you to know that I may not be able to give you the answers you want as somethings are pretty hard to explain, and content creators can do a much better job at explaining it than I can, so I'm sorry for that

Just going to be honest with you, it's probably a while away. They are making steps towards it. We finally play the league at the same day and time as pc this league. It's very unlikely but it's possible xbox and Playstation might have cross play together this league but again it's very very very very unlikely , I only say that because of perhaps a little surprise from them
We will most likely have crossplay between Playstation either in 3.25 or 3.26 for testing before full cross play

This is all SPECULATION! I am only just giving my input as to when I believe it will happen. I do predict cross play before PoE 2 full launch but we will see

It will be a few hours before the patch, that's always how it works and the size is usual pretty similar for leagues probably 20-30+ Gbs update size

With respect patch release times have varied over the last year and we have never had parallel launch with PC before. Additionally league launch patches have varied from between approx 8 and 36 GB recently, so asking for an estimate if GGG has one is also valid.
They may not yet have one or either or be able to reply if they do, but asking for a reason.

Not all of us have fibre, planning when such people can start the update and also estimate its completion (based on individual adsl speed and requested patch size estimate) would be useful

Patch size, when it comes to league launch, has stayed around the 25+ Gb margin, so we can assume with that, it's going to take some time to update. Patches for both pc and consoles regardless of league launch dates are always sent out and can be downloaded 3-4 hours maybe more, before league launch .

I do not believe that a reply will be given here, I recommend asking in the poe channel instead of the Xbox one, you will most likely see better results. I hope you can get more information that you want, but it's probably going to be similar to what is already known by other players

I hear you, but to me for example I have in last 4-5 leagues seen (with my paltry 5mbps adsl) league start updates that take me between 4.5 and 18 hours (was it 3.22 or 3.23 we had full game reinstall as ‘patch’?). Also have before now had patch at between (again in last 4-5 leagues) launch -1 hour and launch -4 hours but that was when console patch was PC launch time + 5 days and 4 hours, now it’s parallel.

As an Xbox user and as a console specific question (PC already know patch size and already can download it I believe the torrent is live) I thought I’d try here and hope for less ‘flack’ 🙂

Yes everything you have said is great and makes sense and is important. Genuine question, what does knowing the size change? Regardless of whether we know it or not, the patch is coming out at similar times to the pc one, and the sizes will be similar, but does knowing the size change how quickly it is downloaded. Honestly, if I knew that, for example, patch was at launch -8 hours I could skip lunch and make sure it’s downloading rather than go to friends, if it’s launch -3 hours same deal but with early evening meal. If it’s launch -1 hour and 10GB I may as well just start it at what would be 8pm local (launch time here) and go to bed, more than 10GB and not worth waking early and can have a lay in, etc..

It’s weird thought but a lack of decent broadband is defining for a game like PoE where keeping up with the curve is critical (maybe a slight over statement lol) to making currency

It’s also doubly annoying when deployment for full to door (gigabit) fibre was supposed to be here first quarter of last year and has been postponed till first half this year so far, prob more delays

With parallel launch at least my launch is now 8pm (winter and 10pm iirc summer) instead of waiting up till old times of between 11pm and 1am to start update (something a 57;yr old like me is not fond of lol)

Poe is sadly one of those games where you get punishd for having crappy internet most of the time, but overall I think everything should go fine and hopefully you will be able to have a smooth league start. League start may even be rough server wise due to how the league mechanic works so maybe league launch will be rough, no way in knowing until tomorrow

PC game is 4k right, and they’re 6GB and console 8GB makes some small sense as console has some negligible differences, but why does 4k textures of X and Series X make that then 12GB? I mean is there really 6GB of difference in PC and console base code?

Just a heads up, poe will most likely never have an offline mode. It is worth it though. Despite it all, I would rather play PoE as it is now than play D4 with offline.
