@barren jay arakaalis fang doesn't have a specific drop place, so it's a random drop. With these kind of drops you can only try to increase unique drop rates, with delirium orbs, unique scarabs. I love to farm heist because you have some jobs like brute force or engeneering plus blue prints that have guaranteed unique chests.

I only see negatives with removing the trade board until all trade markets are merged. If the trade site brings down prices it won't be anywhere close to PC prices. All removing the trade board will do is make it extremely annoying to do trades. Yeah, you can filter for items easier on the trade site but now you gotta completely exit the game and use a browser on the console (good luck PS5 users), be near a PC or laptop, or use your phone. Then, you gotta hope that you can invite the person to trade. Nevermind the fact that joining parties on console is pretty hit or miss to begin with. On top of all of that, PC players seem to range from disliking to hating this trade process and GGG would rather make everyone suffer it rather than try to actually improve trading in any way. All for the sake of "friction"

They are just turning trade into pc like trade we have to wait and see to see how good it will be, I use series S it's decent but sometimes in juiced endgame maps the game gets low res as fuck for some seconds when theres too much going on.

Ah on my old xbox one it used to get low texture all the time, and the loading times were annoying and that's a shame, would be nice to have keyboard/mouse support for that.

So many players say that they want to try more builds and that (right now) the climb is more fun then endgame. Hardcore allows you to try tons of (admittedly unfinished) builds and you get to enjoy the climb several times too

@alpine glacier I'm relatively new (just started about a month ago), and I have played nothing but HCleague to learn the game.
I think playing HC is a great way to learn the passive tree. I'm on my 5th character so far, with my highest level character dying at level 30. Every time that I die and start over, I get a better understanding of what passives work well with certain types of builds.

It's alternate skill bars. If you press just one, you get 4 more skill slots, for a total of 8 additional skill slots on top of the original 4.
If you press them both together, you get the additional content selection options like it shows there, where you can summon Thane, set Explosive Markers for Expedition, etc etc.

What button do you guys use for your main skill?
I've been using "A", but I've come into a few issues where I end up picking up an item in a pivotal moment instead of doing any damage. Worse yet, it sometimes takes me a moment to notice that I've done this, and then my character is just standing there taking damage while I am uselessly holding the A button...
Sometimes it happens several times in a row.
What do you guys do to circumvent this? Should I hide all the drops until it's time to loot?

I've grown accustomed to never slotting a single skill of any kind on the A key, because it will always prioritize activating that skill over any other action possible, including picking up a highlighted item.

I don't really blame you. I don't know how the state that the console exclusive server is in these past months, but it's not really a good atmosphere for anybody but the most dedicated and hardcore (from my past experiences). Or if you don't mind dealing with an exclusive social clique. Things may have changed in there in the last several months, and don't get me wrong there are several accommodating people in there willing to help people out. But in my general experience in there, this server is infinitely better in every single aspect, especially with how it approaches newer players, or players having a harder time at the game.
Again, just my experiences, and they are from months ago.. I'm still in it, but i hardly care to check in there these days. I really don't blame you for wanting to connect with players in this server instead though.

Yes. It uses the Animated Guardian minion, as well as Animated Weapon minions, and if you want to, also Dancing Dervish weapon which spawns an animated weapon as its unique feature. When using Chains of Command, you can't use anything other than animated minion types, which means you are very limited in what minions you can use. The build also requires you to actually gear the Animated Guardian as best as you can.
It's a pretty neat minion build. And i figure with the buff that some of these unique items received, it might be nice to give it a shot this league.

Probably because the Xbox One is not sufficiently powered to keep graphics at a normal level. In PoE, the game will sacrifice graphics to maintain performance whenever and if ever the need arises. So often during mapping, if you have a lot going on, you may find your game looking like N64 games for a bit, often. I think it can be changed in the settings though.
If it's too much, I'd recommend trying to get your hands on an Xbox Series X. I upgrade from an Xbox One myself several months ago, and those graphical issues with PoE ceased immediately. Also load times in to maps are very fast in comparison.

I enjoy the game so far. Granted, having a build guide and other tutorial resources is a huge factor. I would not have stuck around trying to figure out poe on my own, so it is understandable why many leave.

Nickfi: make sure your hard wired into your Xbox also when the game loads up there is a buttone to change your gateway. Take it off of auto and put it to the closest place to you on the list.
If it's not those things then there isn't much yiu can do it's a fun game but has stability issues at times.

I'm doing a homebrew build. It will build alot like poison SrS, but I'll ve playing Poison Phantasms using tye new fresh meat and returning projectile supports.

Yeah usually when a game update is available simply opening the game will prompt it to download, and I tried the "check for available updates" option and nothing came up. It was when the in game banner changed to "patch deployed" and yet it still couldn't find any available updates that I knew the bit about downloading the whole thing applied to console as well.

Think I managed 9hrs total on RF but it was also highly unethical as I used gear I've been amassing on other toons lmao, like from leaving lioneyes to Act10 kitava I used the same blue scepter with +1 fire skill. At lvl 50 I put on an immortal flesh with 233 life regen so yeah, it won't be that easy this time lol.

Some behaviors will be to a target (closest/furthest), while the alt behavior will send the projectile to the maximum distance. Which is obviously best for piercing projectiles.

Also, regarding Alt Behaviors on console.
I had a discussion with a dev (Vipersque) on here a couple leagues ago. He said that given some updates to UI engines/behavior (something like that), they should now easily be able to actually write out what the alt behavior does on the skill, and that he was planning on seeing what they could do as far as increasing visibility and clarity of alt behaviors and their specefic functions.
But that was like 2 leagues ago. And it's been radio silent since. To the best of my knowledge, caustic arrow is still broken.
It'd alt behavior is supposed to go max distance, instead of to the target (good for piercing), but both behaviors on caustic arrow will always stop on the first enemy hit.
I haven't tested it since the thr last endless delve when I spoke to Viper about alt behaviors. But I've never seen any mention of it in thr patchnotes yet
So, I guess that's a word of warning to anyone planning on playing caustic arrow. Don't invest in any piercing on caustic arrow. It just doesn't work on consoles

In my recent TR Pathfinder run I used Caustic while leveling for a bit and yeah, whether using a pierce quiver or pierce support it always stopped on first enemy hit, Chain support however did allow it to chain.

@golden crest to the best of my knowledge, it was just CA that had the busted alt behavior. It would he a quick test to see.
1- get LA
2- get pierce support/quiver
3- try the regular behavior and alt behavior. One of the 2 should target maximum range (aka, pierce through targets), while the other will stop at a specefic target

Yes you can invite and do that.
But the trade board in town is another way. You need to have a premium tab and then make it public for items to be listed on the trade board.

To get that to work with the trade site I think you need to initiate the whisper from the site then select the in game message to invite to hideout

If you plan on learning from the turn and burn method, then there is nothing wrong with trying a few hardcore characters to force you to try a new character on every death. It gives you a good opportunity to try several builds/skills and learn what type of playstyle you like, and it also helps you learn what sort of stuff works in a build and what sort of stuff doesn't work in a build
It's definitely not for everyone, but if you're okay with turn and burn and learn style and starting over doesn't frustrate you, then it's really helpful.
That's how I started, and I really think it helped a lot. This league I feel like I'm actually rushing through acts a pretty good pace and I feel like I have a pretty strong build in the works.
But the biggest help of all is the question channel on here. Guys like Darth are extremely helpful

Can’t. Opus is drop disabled aka you can only buy it as a legacy item in standard. However you can use an orb of chance to hopefully chance into a death harp

@opal fern tons of marauder builds out there that are good to league start.
As @silver parrot said, people will swear up and down on Boneshater builds and Righteous Fire builds. But there are plenty of options. Just browse PoB if you're looking for a guide.
Or if you're feeling spicy. Try the game blind. To get a feel for what you like and what you dislike. Then after you get to the end game and you map for a bit, you will have a decent bit of currency to reroll your current character or just create a new one.
When looking at guides it's important not to just follow blindly, but to also try to understand and learn why the op is making certain build decesions

im going legion route, but pmuch everything can give you a lot of currency when it’s built right, i’d recommend looking up a build/ atlas build to see which two combo looks like you’d enjoy the most ( for example legion might not be the best best but i love the huge amount of mobs)
