Instead of campaign skip they should make previously unlocked teleports by other characters available BUT you can only use the ones you finish the previously unlocked zone.

So you can for example (act2 example ) reach the forest encampment and teleport to the river ways and if you finish for example the den you can teleport to the crossroads

Don't know if it's a good idea but would speed up campaign and make exploration less of a chore
