Can someone explain what exactly the Exerted/Boosted calc mode does in PoB? When you mouse over it, it just says it calculated damage for lining up all Warcries. I only have Ancestral Cry being used, but when I set it to calculate for max effect, it nearly quintuples my damage lol
I suspect what it's doing is calculating all the other effects like Ruthless, Trauma stacks, Volatility, etc all hitting their max rolls and procing all at once, but the PoB tooltip specifically only says calculates for lining up all Warcries.. sooo, wtf??

Thats your starting point, though step 3 you can work on as you go, but start by burning a buncha low tier maps and set your board up, skip everything else and just spam betrayal encounters to arrange the board for the above
After that, you basically just kill everyone except save a 3 star for last for max yield on every encounter, but you kill in this priority order
- Anyone Rank 1 or 2
- ITF or Janus or both
- Anyone rank zero to make them rank 2
- Anyone remaining, saving a single 3 star person for last
And then interrogate the last remaining 3 star for max yield
Repeat for every single encounter

basically each member has specific rewards it gives in safehouses - so if you want some of them, you can manipulate your board so you can keep running same dudes. this takes a while to setup + has less safehouses/hour on avg than just grabing all the relations you can and running any safehouse no matter the member, where you primarily care for syndicate medalions which can drop from any leader no matter who it is in safehouse (keep dude full rank for better odds tho). economically you usually want to do the later

it's perfectly fine when you realize that before instilling orbs, youre hitting your quicksilver flask about as often
so just put your life flask where you normally put your quicksilver, since your other flasks will be up almost 100% of the time anyways (instill reused at end of effect, not use when full)
at least, thats the trick i used when i played master surgeon for the first time, worked perfectly for me
