I'm working on some (supposed) build upgrades and apparently I can increase a couple of max hits but that decreases max EHP, mostly because I'll be losing some life on gear (switching to uniques without any), is that worth?

Theres also a bit of nuance when it comes to uber bosses. For example i ran into this issue this league:

Ehp was good, max res was 82ish, lucky block from glad, phys taken as, 6 endurance charges...onetapped by shaper balls on uber uber elder.

The issue is that shaper balls have 25% pen so you either add suppress (not viable for me) or push your max hp up. So it depends on what you are fighting

oh this I can help you out. So you have dot that aren't tied to an ailment it's harder to scale them because you have less modifier you can use and many things that don't work like penetration, dmg as extra, leech
