I don't think Scion is inherently expensive, but some builds can be super costly on Scion. IMO it'd be worth looking to see - depending on what they need for nodes from the Witch ascendency - if they can wiggle around do like Witch/Marauder from Scion and cut out a bunch of the travel nodes that way

the main "brick" mods are reflect, less recovery, no regen, cannot be leeched from, minus max res, steal charges, less flask charges, and less aura effect.

As a result, in order to be able to run every map mod, your build must be: Reflect immune, not dependent on recovery or regen or leech, not dependent on charges, no dependent on flask charges, not dependent on auras, and able to offscreen enemies with massive damage before they can kill you with whatever mods they have going on.

The easiest ways to be reflect immune are to either play a pure chaos build, a trap/mine build, or a minion build that's not subject to reflect. A build that gains life/mana on hit can deal with no regen and no leech, but not less recovery. Luckily less recovery only applies to life/ES, so if you have a decent source of mana on hit or just don't spend mana you're fine. Less flask charges is solved by having a Mageblood (or I guess Screams). Steal charges is solved by not using charges or not letting enemies hit you ever. And less aura effect is annoying but usually not debilitating with enough non-aura damage.

I've just sold everything on my KF Heirophant because I've grown annoyed at the playstyle, I got around 70~ divines from selling its gear, I want to run breaches, strongboxes and maybe bosses later, which build can I comfortably pivot into with that budget?

buy 30 wands
setup regex for flat/hybrid/% phys and t1 cold/fire/light
spam 10k alts
recombo 1prefix +1 prefix till u hit 2 prefix (1/3)
do it again but make 1 mod the same and 1 mod different than the last one (1/3)
recombo both the 2 mod wands (1/3) to hit 3 mod
once 3 mod prefix done, preflock and veiled chaos
block dmg per charge by crafting it and hope to unveil as/crit
if no as/crit then try agane
if as/crit then craft the other and ur done
bonus step if u still have empty suffix u craft an ele dmg mod and foulborn ex for good odds of multi

use poe2 recomb to combine prefix + attack speed and prefix + crit chance

then mash them
