no winter is best because you can always put on more layers / there are endless ways to get warmer. in grossly hot weather, you cannot get less dressed than naked and that is often having no impact on how gross the weather is anyway

I do like it when there's actually snow, but here in Northern IL we get more ice than we do snow. Like last week we had no snow, but we did have a single day that went from 28F to 52 (and thunderstorm), and then dropped back to 30... in the span of about 19 hours.
